Middlemore Motel

The room was nice and had obviously been updated recently, however the new AC unit was not working when I was there.

The location is kind of sketchy. The 1 GB internet limit was low and quickly depleted as I tried to use the internet to make travel plans. I would suggest to future international travelers to not stay in Mangere, but instead pay extra to be in Auckland

The room I booked was perfect, it was very clean and tidy. The staff was very welcoming, loved how they let me check in early and even gave us an extra car park. Awesome communication. Thank you.

Fantastic staff, very accommodating when I had to change dates last minute due to hospital /surgery date changes.Very clean, easy to find with good parking.

Loud 'neighbors' and I didn't feel very secure with the door only having a pin pad on a glass door.

Beautiful roomy space (Unit 2), generous bathroom, huge shower with great water pressure, plush bed, generous kitchenette, ample parking space. Everything was very clean.Would definitely stay again.Unit 2 was actually alongside the road, but I slept soundly. The traffic must have calmed down overnight.Good value for money.11 mins from Park & Ride South.

Aircon and fan in rooms were great in the middle of summer. Great security on doors. Felt very safe.

Smelt like sewage in our room when we first arrived, we left for a few hours and was gone when we got back.

It was close to where we had the be the next day so it was convenient. It’s clean and tidy and good parking too.

The traffic noise but you get use to it and ear plugs are provided.

It was a lovely room with a tidy bathroom, shower had great wai pressure.

Kitchen only provides microwave but no stove. There was commotion even at late midnight as there were strikes going on and people just drove in the property late midnight with loudspeakers playing music.

Clean premises, had everything we needed & great communication to get into our units as we were arriving outside of check in times. Would stay again

They have done an epic job since we last stayed. Rooms are clean and beds were comfy. Gutted we arrived so late we didn't get to enjoy the room. Noticed the windows that has helped reduce the road noise considerably. Will be back and love the price

Fast and easy to get in. Service was good, even though it was after hours. The person who helped us made it very smooth.

Bad

Very loud, neighbours were homeless and peeking through their curtains at us. Very loud music and fighting under bathroom window. Did not feel safe, left and stayed somewhere else. Man on the phone told me it wasn’t possible to cancel my booking but later in an email I received it said they it was my own fault for not cancelling and cannot have my money back.

Less than 100m to 4 buses to the nearest train station hub with links to the city and the airport from there. Room was a good size and the bed was comfy.

Convenient location to a wedding

Too noisy, there are people smoking nearby & the smoke wafts in. There needs to be more mirrors in every room. The only mirror was in the bathroom
