Rooms were dated and lots of broken things

Not much.

A lot. Broken doors. Dirty floors. Old linen. Faulty air con. Broken lights. Plug sockets that came out of the wall. Wifi didn't work. Never again.

It is disappointing that they treated their customers this way. We were given a room for disabled guests on the ground floor. The windows were blocked by walls, making the room extremely dark. It felt like a scene from a horror movie.

The location of the hotel was good

Loved its location in Grey Lynn, on Ponsonby Street, with access to stores in walking distance and a few minutes drive into Auckland center.

More than sufficient, but if you’re looking for a higher end, nicely decorated hotel with Services, this is not for you.

Location was excellent. I have stayed several times before. Staff are polite and accommodating. Instructions on how to use the facilities are clear.

I only have two discrepancies. 1. I would prefer a walk in shower for the larger 1 bedroomed apartment (not a shower over the bath). 2. The King size bed was 2 double beds put together. If the room is advertised with a King size bed then it should be one King Size bed.

The cups and glasses were in the top shelf of a high cupboard, no way I could reach them, so no morning cup of tea. That is ridiculous as cups are probably the most used item in the kitchen. I didn't find this out till early in the morning

Location was the main reason for the stay, and value for money was secondary.

Paying for more data of Internet.

Very convenient location, easy to walk out for dinner. Good parking.

I emailed host asking about parking overnight AND where to park to check in. I got the answer to the first question but not the second. Given the property fronts the busy Ponsonby Road, it would have beenUseful to know.

Good location on Ponsonby Rd, close to restaurants and bars.

Didn't like rude receptionist at checkin who wanted to argue the fact that the $30 charge for parking is not clear in the booking process. There was painting gear and coverings in the hallways despite no working being done over the weekend. If there is going to be maintenance done during your stay then a property should declare this.

Close to supermarket. We knew car was safe even though cost more. Had 2 bathrooms and big beds.

Pillows too thick. Water behind the toilet. Lots of noise from road. Trying to get into the property the intercom kept cutting off to find out how we check in after hours.

Very close to everything we wanted in the middle of Ponsonby, close to bars, restaurants and great shopping. Plus a nice park opposite - good for walking and relaxing. The Quest appartments were back off the street and felt safe.

The unit was accessible but there was no shelter getting to the front door from the car park. The fold down shower seat looked manky and so I didn’t want to use it. The location was right in the middle of some of the nicest cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Good value for money based on the size of apartment & location, but the room needs maintenance ASAP

Shower floor tiles broken with water underneath them. Property needs repairs urgently.

Location

The studio room was much smaller than it appeared in any of the pictures on the website. Additionally, the website advertises laundry facilities and of course, there were none available for the studio. A laundromat was suggested. The “kitchenette” was skimpy at best. This was more like a hotel room than a studio apartment.

Room wasn't serviced every day. Kitchenette wasn't up to standard.

Good stay but wifi needs to be improved

On the website it advertised free wifi and I was given a code when I checked in that said wifi free for up to 15gb or 7 days. After the first evening my wifi code no longer worked and I was there for less than 7 days and definitely didn’t use more than 15gb in one evening. I asked for another code the next night but the after hrs staff member told me he couldn’t give it to me and that I could purchase more which I felt wasn’t as advertised so this did affect my stay. Otherwise a good central place with everything else I needed

Very central location - spacious for 2bdroom configuration.

External facilities are a little dark and tired - however rooms were very well cleaned and bedding was comfortable.
