Yes,the dinner plates,saucers,cups..were damaged ,cracked .the beds had ??somekind of blood or stain on it ,Shower stand blocked wirh a big pool of water while showering,shower stand very dirty with brown stuff which were coming off from the walls .

The size of the rooms

NO housekeeping, we went out at 10am.came back to rubbish still in the bins, no fresh towels, no more coffee and no beds made. I complained to the unmotivated receptionist who told me it doesn't happen and that irritated me so we had a discussion that resulted in her bringing us fresh towels emptying the rubbish. Why are you not servicing the rooms daily?

Location - choice of room configurations.

Dirty towel hanging up behind shower door. No shower mat. Skirting boards dirty. Could not leave ranch slider open, due to people smoking downstairs.

Was clean.

Noisy as. Ridiculously noisy. Invest in double glazing. Especially for front road units. Might help with the drumming from across road.

The Lodge was really vclean with lovely laundered sheets. The hosts were very friendly. Good location to the airport and great with the free shuttle bus.

It is on a busy road so can have a bit of road noise. Its pretty modest with a real small TV.

Property was nice and clean and easy access to everything

I didn’t like the fact that before check out we had the cleaner come in twice while we were in the room still packing up! No knock, nothing, just opened the door!

The standard family units are old. The unit we had smelt musty on arrival and the carpet didn't feel clean. The windows/joinery are also thin so any noises/talking outside felt like it was inside. We were only staying for a small portion of the night before our flight, so for the price for a family of 5, it was bearable, but I probably wouldn't stay in those units again. Perhaps the deluxe rooms are better, hence some of the good reviews for the hotel.

Main living area was air-conditioned, with a nicely renovated and very clean bathroom. The beds were comfortable, and the location was great — only a 400 m walk to a local park, which was perfect for our little one to burn off some energy before our international flight the next day. The free airport transfers were very convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Receptionist (from Tonga)was rude and changed our allocated room. We waited 45 minutes at 2pm as no one in reception. She was away for more than 45 minutes, the irony they charge you $50 for half an hour late checking but alright for them to not check you in at 2pm! Had to ask for additional towels as we were 3 people and only 2 bath towels and one hand towel to be shared by all. Curtains were full of mould which suggest room not suitable for dwelling. I would not advise this hotel!

Awful. Requested a refund.

Room was disgusting. All furniture was dirty, ants all over the floor and kitchen bench/sink. We refused to stay there, requested a refund and booked elsewhere. We were told we would recieve a refund but yet to hear anything yet.

Nice, friendly, helpful staff. Awesome service.

I would still stay again, but our room had no rubbish bags in the bins. Also some outdoor furniture or a chair or two would be nice

Disappointing cleanliness overall.

The online photos are somewhat deceiving and do not reflect the current state of the property. The shower had visible mold and was unusable, so no one felt comfortable showering. Floors were sticky, and the carpets are in need of a deep clean or replacement, thus just made the space feel untidy. There was also a quarter toilet roll left in the bathroom with no extra toilet paper provided for five people. Disappointed

I thought this motel would be close to the airport as we had a flight the next morning but in fact it was quite a long way away in the suburbs of South Auckland. There was a free shuttle that took us to and from the motel which really helped. The room was huge which was nice. It was on the first floor so we had to take suitcases up and down the stairs. The location was interesting - right in the middle of a suburban part of South Auckland. Actually very quiet but not very close to restaurants. We were able to get food delivered to the motel.

Rooms were very tired and need painting. Cleaning was sub- standard. Toilet seat needed replacing. Minimal hot water pressure.TV reception not working but made good by staff. Crockery etc. not clean and had to be washed prior to use.We have stayed in older motels than the Auckland Airport Lodge in the past that have been well maintained and excellent on all counts. Did not live up to 4 stars rating.

Their was spider webs on the corners n spiders, I had to clean it up myself
