Novotel Ellerslie

The staff were extremely helpful as we had a very late check-in and they made it very easy

The hotel staff were happy to help and service with a smile.

I didn't like that it was first in first serve for parks there needs to be more parks as the first night there i had to pay to stay at the ascot ave hospital parking.The food was okay not exceptional, nor was it worth the price.

This is an ibis hotel - dated, room smelt musty,

buffet dinner was very good breakfast also was very good, big selection but quite pricey!

Great location, super comfy bed. Very clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Helpful on the car parking too. Nice to walk to Ellerslie for some great coffee shop too.

Parking is first come first served and despite paying, was full at midnight when we returned. We had option to park down the road which cost more and was a hassle.

I liked the staff were friendly and accommodating.

No windows in the room. Its always nice to ha e fresh air

Everything was excellent. Staff helpful and welcoming. Room very clean and tidy. Bar area laid out lovely. Breakfast was excellent value. Location was perfect as we were go8ng to the horse racing.

There was nothing I did not like.

Good location near transport if you don’t want to be in the city. Clean and tidy.

Very average food, limited room service. Seemed understaffed and under qualified staff.

Booked the Novotel based off how beautiful the airport Novotel is, paid $330 for one night happy to pay more for what I thought would be a luxury room given previous experience at Novotel hotels, was really disappointed. Basic basic room with no minibar.

Access to the motorway was good. The beds were comfortable and staff were friendly.

Bathroom was a bit tired. The extractor fan didn’t work which was a problem when you shower. Although we booked for 2 adults and 2 children, there were only coffee mugs and bath towels for 2 people. We had to share the mugs between all 4 of us like a hot drink relay. Kids couldn’t shower as they didn’t have a towel. No rubbish bags in the bins which is unhygienic. Not enough milk for a decent hot drink in the room and no water proved in the room. Had to pay for parking.

Reception staff were not helpful and gave the impression we were unconvincing them.
