    Pros +

    • The location was close to transport we needed for the event we were attending and we enjoyed the waterfront.
    • Location,Staff and facilities in room.
    • Set out of apartment, views

    Cons -

    • Booking in was a major problem as there is only limited parking space available and this was being fully used when we arrived. Forced to drive around the block until it became available. No
    • We had requested a 12pm early time. I was argued with at the counter, that check in is 2pm, even though I said I had an email. He said he would check on the room...never got back to us, so in the end we said we would leave the bags and go and get lunch. The site shows resteraunt, bar, use of dressing gowns...There was none. We were told there wasn't enough to go round. We had to ask for coffee, as there was only a couple. We also asked for dishwasher powder etc.For the price...Very poor! It should be totally relaxing. We had taken 2 flights to get there.
    • Uncomfortable bedsThe receptionist staff are very unprofessional

    Staff friendlyness

Run down place, should be renovstedVery loud, bars underneath with a license until 2am

The room was very spacious. Room was very clean and there was some free coffee and a mini bar stocked with drinks.

I did not like being told there was no carpark for my car and I had to drive two blocks to find a carpark building in the CBD for the night which caused me extra stress and cost money.

Room was spotless and had full facilities should you want to cook your own breakfast etc on longer stays. Very close to Marina end of the city..literally through back doors !!!Highly recommend the hotel and we will be using again for sure.

Breakfast. Was very limited choice for those staying at the hotel, as you go to the Giraffe restaurant next door, and my scrambled eggs were more like an omelette. More choices would be nice. But, saying that, staff were really pleasant and super attentive.

For a overnight stay it was ok. The location was convenient as it was right on the viaduct close to bars and restaurants

Hot water didn’t last long had to wait for the water to heat back up but didn’t take too long. Limited parking in their parking garage otherwise had to park in the public car parks down the street. Couldn’t chromecast or connect my phone to the TV to watch movies

    Location, clean, bed was good

Shower bad pressure and not hot enough

    5EmmaPosted on: 1-26-2026

    Location

The room we were given was like a dungeon. Patches on the wall, toilet didn’t flush properly, shower pressure was weak. I have stayed at the Sebel multiple times before and would not expect a room like this for the price I paid. Very unfortunate as Sebel is high end accommodation.

    8ClarePosted on: 1-18-2026

The location was excellent and suited our needs extremely well. The room was a good size and the amenities were great. The bed was comfortable enough but more of a double size rather than a Queen. Overall it was good though.

The bed size could have been bigger.

    3DylanPosted on: 1-18-2026

The location was great for quick access to the viaduct.

The room was extremely overpriced for what it offered. It was outdated, cramped, soaps were empty, basic supplies (bathroom and kitchenette) were missing and it felt unclean.

    3SuePosted on: 1-16-2026

Nothing to start with, then we were shifted on day 2 of our stay First room was terrible, tiny, unclean, tiny bed, expensivethe second room was acceptable and clean and value for $$

I have mentioned this before the carpets are dirty the showers need scrubbed for mold in the grout, floor tiles are broken and cracked in the service areas, specifically kitchensthe hallways are terrible dirty and need cleaned, I mentioned this to the Assistant Manager when I took him to review what I considered was in appropriate for the $$ charged and he said that he didn't set the pricing, but I was more concerned at the state of the place, its shabby and needs sorting

Fantastic location on the waterfront. Surrounded by restaurants and bars and looking out over the boats and marina. Spacious well equipped room - soft bed and power shower !The Giraffe restaurant downstairs has a great view of the marina and we sampled the food on several occasions. Overall the portions were good and tasty, and service was excellent.Parking in the basement easily accessible, but 45 dollars a day.

Of course the downside of a great location in the middle of the action is late night noise !!

Needed milk in fridge. Bathrobes in unit. We paid alot $500 + a night for this hotel & this was not good enough. It generally felt really lazy.

    8AnnaPosted on: 1-14-2026

Brilliantly located in the happening area with bars and restaurants.

Side view of the port was great but only really visible from part of the sitting room or the balcony.

    7AmandaPosted on: 1-13-2026

Great location as we were going on a cruise. The apartment style also suited us due to luggage.

Some of the walls where a bit grubby

    10MatasivaPosted on: 1-13-2026

The view from the top floor and ease of access. Staff were friendly and helpful.

    The city view lol

    8TriciaPosted on: 1-12-2026

Great location Right next to the harbour The room had a washing machine & drier which was a bonus

All good, however no breakfast available at the hotel.
