Very friendly and accommodating staff!We also liked the location very much; smack in the middle of the centre near the Sky Tower and the Marina promenade.The rooms were nice and clean and there were plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

The apartment was modern, sparkling clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. The location was perfect—dozens of restaurants within a couple of blocks and easy walking distance to many CBD shops and attractions. Very pleasant staff.

I had a confirmed, paid booking and was staying at the property when I was issued with a two-year trespass notice without prior warning while I was away from the hotel.I was denied access to the room and parking despite the stay being fully paid for, and I was not given an explanation or an opportunity to resolve the situation.My belongings were later retrieved under police escort, which should never be necessary for a standard hotel stay.The booking was later inconsistently recorded as both a no-show and a completed stay.The hotel has not responded to Booking.com or provided a clear explanation or refund.

The Avani is located a few blocks from the harbor and just a block from the main shopping district in Auckland. It's an easy walk to the large park that includes the Auckland Museum, War Memorial, and Winter Garden. The harbor includes the New Zealand Maritime Museum and Ferry Building and is a great place to stroll or have lunch. The staff at the Avani were excellent and the room was refreshed every day. There are also several good grocery stores a few block from the residence as well as coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants.

I had a room overlooking the harbor, but the glass doors of the balcony were very dirty and spoiled what would have been a wonderful view of downtown and the water. I small issue, to be sure, but also one that could easily have been addressed.

I love the location, view, shower with sep bath! All amazing! Well equipped kitchen, w/ oven and dishwasher, coffee machine not much to want after that.

The only thing I noticed was the need for scissors to cut open packages. That was the only thing.

Spacious, central location, close to many good restaurants and cafes. We were so glad they had a washer/dryer and provided detergent so we can easily wash our clothes. They have onsite parking deck for $50NZD per night or you can park at Victoria Street Car Park right next door for slightly less.

Good location, very clean and easy parking set up.

We arrived early, hoping to be able to use our paid car park and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready and we were able to check in early. The room had lovely city views and was quiet and comfortable.

The bathroom (not ensuite) was tiny with toiletries and towels placed on a very high shelf, however I would still stay there again as this was a minor issue for me.

Originally given a room for disabled. I do not like when water from shower goes all over the bathroom floor. They changed my room without problem. Room was much smaller than the photos. Kitchenette did not have pot holders. I stayed 5 nights but no restocking was done. I had to ask at reception for more toilet paper, shampoo, coffee packets. No trash bag liners were provided, although I could have asked for them. At least 1 extra bag liner should be stocked in the room.

The location was super convenient to downtown. The room was super spacious and modern with all the amenities that we wanted.

Check in was a breeze the girl at reception was professional and quick to check me in and directed me to my room and my reserved carpark. We were on Level 26, the room was perfect for us, bed was comfortable, full oven, fridge, bath, lovely view from the "sliding doors" balcony and loved the washing machine and dryer for our wet clothes after our swim in the nice big swimming pool and spa. The gym was nice and big too. Easy to get to on Level 8. Theres a shop next door if you need anything and a lot of eateries around would definitly recommend Ongi Restaurant next door. Would definitely return back here in the future.

Just that the parking was $50, there is the auckland transport carparks next door. But just easier and more secure at the hotel and you can go out and return as you please.

It was a beautiful property and the rooms had fabulous amenities.

The only problem we had is that on some Saturday nights there is a pop-up outdoor disco in the vicinity and that was a bit too loud to sleep. It seemed to be between midnight and 3:45 AM.

We also like the facility in the room. Our luggage is delay from flight during we stay here. Hotel facility help us a lot to survive this time.

Functional clean tidy hotel room. Nice and quiet. Staff were very friendly.Car parking was easy - either at the hotel or slightly cheaper next door (though its locked over night)Very short walk to shops and downtown., and a nice park opposite.

Views arent great - but its easy to get to the sea front anyway -

The property is beautiful. The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff was welcoming and kind.

The only thing that wasn’t great was the TV connection to stream.
