Great location. Very comfortable bed, great shower, and convenient kitchen and laundry.

The hallway on Level 3 had a damp, musty smell.

Good location. good size room.

The air con definitely need a good clean. Smells terrible when it's on. Bed and pillows are way tooooo soft. Not very tidy. even find some rubbish from last tanent.

Great location for public transport, nearby amenities. Neat apartment with a comfortable bed.

A note to others - Apartments are not serviced on public holidays, which meant our apartment had a lot of rubbish after 4 days. We needed to ask for towels to be changed and this only happened if we caught the duty manager. I'm sure it would be fine if it hadn't of been for the public holidays.No recycling options or food recycling options.

I liked the convenient location, close to public transport, local shops and concert venue was walking distance. The room was super clean, and the facilities were excellent - able to make meals in a suitable sized kitchenette and wash my clothes after returning from the concert.

I wasn't sure where to place the room access key on vacating my room, the explanation wasn't too clear, was more suitable for a guest that had a vehicle parked in the garage. I decided just to slide it under the reception door before exiting.

Perfect location — walking distance to the mall, with restaurants literally right across the apartment. It was quiet inside the room despite being in a busy area. The beds were spacious and super comfy, and we had a great night’s sleep. Pillows were soft and fluffy, and the bathroom was spotless, looked new, and had no drainage smell (unlike some other places we’ve stayed).

Maybe just a small add-on — an adapter for travellers who might forget theirs (like our family in the other room did, luckily we had a spare). And maybe some chamomile tea for a really good sleep.

Everything was good .

The location was good. We were able to walk to a lot of places and catch the bus to take us to other areas of the city.

There were a lot of things that didn't work in our room, so it just gave the vibe of being warned down. First, the dryer did not work. This was very disappointing because we booked here because it had a washer and dryer in the room. The AC didn't work either, so it was very warm in our room with very little air flow. We tried opening the window, but shut it after a bird almost flew into the room. The refrigerator barely kept things cold. Luckily, we just had water. If we had food, I would have been concerned. We let the staff know and they said that we could use the staff dryer. While they were nice, this solution wasn't really doable since we were on the 4th floor and would need to bring all our wet clothes down. The shower curtain was also a meter short of covering the full length the tub. It seemed very weird and you had to be careful about getting water on the floor. We've stayed at other Quest hotels and had good experiences, but I wouldn't stay at this one again. It was serviceable for a night or two, but it felt really run down. It wouldn't stay there again.

It is located near cafes and supermarket. We can walk 10 mins to domain to practice running. It is easier to get access to War Museum as well.

There is no room cleaning on Sunday?

They are a good size. I appreciated that the beds could be split so my son and I didnt have to share a room.

Location was great and car parking great value for central Auckland

LOVED THE LOCATION, THE ROOMM WAS SPACIOUS AND WELL APPOINTED AND THE BED WAS LIKE SLEEPING ON A CLOUD.

Location was awesome and staff friendly and helpful.

There was a stain on the bedroom roof that looked unappealing and unhealthy. The location on apple maps also showed an wrong address in the city CBD - This was not quests fault necessarily but did mean we went to the wrong location

Newmarket is an excellent location to stay in Auckland and the Quest is really well located in the area. The apartments are well appointed with everything you need to function like home; and the advantage of good restaurants etc right nearby. If you need public transport, Newmarket is a hub. The staff were all so helpful and friendly - I was impressed with each person on site. Housekeeping were always giving us fresh towels! I ran around the Domain which is close by if you like todos run or walk. Archies is the pub next door and they did the best risotto! It was always very busy.I’d stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend. There are lots of interesting shops etc along with the big Westfield Shopping Centre so you can buy whatever you want and within an easy walk back to your apartment .

There is no need for the balcony - don’t book an apartment for that. When you open the big doors up it can be a little noisy from all the restaurants and bars across the road. In saying that, it was lovely having the fresh air every morning !

Great location for Newmarket and the Auckland Domain. Comfy bed. Lovely receptionist.

Location to broadway was ideal for walking to local eateries and Westfield mall

The bath tub with shower built in. Shower pressure was good though Balcony wasn’t very private and had very minimal cover
