Location and convenience to shops, eating places. Uber into city return was cheap.

Shower to bath turn thing not mixing at arrival.TV reception on off on Looked like permanent tenants there or long stayers noisey.

Check in was easy

Booked for 3 people and only 2 towels supplied. Shower leaked into the floor.

The location was good for our needs.

Our first night there was no toilet paper, bathmat, facecloths or hand towel. I didn't discover this until after the reception had closed. We had to use a box of tissues until the next morning when I went to ask for some. My daughter said the single bed was really uncomfortable. The outside of the premises was very messy, disposable gloves and other stuff on the ground and on the stairs.

This motel is handy for a one night break in your journey northwards. It is not far off SH1 and convenient for shopping at PaknSave

The motel decor is tired and needs upgrading. The outside areas were full of litter and the stairways hadn’t been swept. This did not create a good impression. The room was clean and basics were provided for self catering

room suited my needs as I was only there for the night plus easy to find and great to have it near to pak n save, new world and lots of eateries

some rooms looked like they were used for emergency housing so that was a kind of turn off but the people were pleasant

The location was perfect as it enabled me to get everywhere I needed to go.

It is clear that this place needs a refresh & I hadn’t realised that there was no Air Con. Also, it would seem there are some semi-permanent residents which changed the dynamic of the common areas.

The customer service was great during check in. Very helpful and professional. The bed was also very very comfortable. 4 minutes away from the Albany Westfield and all the shops, Laundromats and restaurants. Big Car Park space.

Aside from being located a bit far from the Airport and other popular areas like Manukau, Mangere and so forth, the Room Service lady was a put off, after two short knocks and calling out room service, she opened the room with a spare key she had and walked in, which was very unprofessional and ruins the security of the motel, they cant just open and walk in like that while customers are in the room, checked out the very same day because of this reason.

Everything was a bit old & needs a "tidyup"

The facilities were clean and there was plenty of space.

The pillows were quite firm. There were fans but it was still quite hot in the room

took our own breakfast requirements with us. Would have preferred a downstairs room, if it had been available, as we are in our 80's and enjoy ground floor accommodation.

Lightbulb above our bed was missing.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The room was unclean, dusty, and had a strong, unpleasant smell. There were people shouting and drinking alcohol outside my room, sitting on chairs late into the night, which made it impossible to feel safe or comfortable.I complained to reception and was moved to another room, but it was just as bad. Due to the conditions, I had no choice but to leave and book a different hotel at my own expense.I requested a refund, which the hotel is refusing to provide. They have since ignored my calls and failed to return any contact. I have raised this issue with Booking.com, who are now reviewing the property and considering its removal due to the seriousness of the complaint.I am still out of pocket and have not received my refund. This hotel is completely unacceptable, and I will be sharing my experience publicly to warn others.

The location and good value for money. Staff were amazing. Walking distance for dinner options and to the mall.

Very worth the money. Large rooms and well organized facilities. Very welcoming.

The WiFi signal is a little bad

Kitchenette and fridge,, and the close proximity to a supermarket made my stay more affordable.

Lack of air-conditioning is not great during what is effectively a heatwave.

It was quiet

The state of the room was pretty crap. I even heard another customer ask for a refund and left the premises. The name of this place does not reflect the reality of it.

Close to the Albany mall and plenty of eateries within walking distance. A cheap place to stay short term

It was in need of an update, old furniture etc. Needed a good repaint.
