- Localisation near to train station.
- Hotel Sunplaza 2 is my go-to every time I visit OsakaI genuinely wont stay anywhere else. Its incredibly basic, but the location is unbeatable and the value for money is spot on. I especially appreciate the clean, well-maintained public bath, which Ive always been able to use without issue despite having tattoosa real bonus in Japan.
Cons -
- The bathroom is near the lobby and it was quite uncomfortable. In the middle of the night one of the guest was very loud- there was no chance to call the reception because it was closed. The room was very dark. Toilets are coeducational and it's also a uncomfortable, especially for woman.
- The main drawback is the building layout: most floors are only accessible via a single elevator, which can be frustrating. Id happily take the stairs if the lower floors werent all smoking rooms. Even as a smoker, Id prefer a fully non-smoking hotel with outdoor ashtrays instead. Still, for the price and convenience, its hard to beat.
