I loved the staff. They were super helpful and supportive. I've been to Kyoto twice and asked for any other suggestions. Two workers tried their best to find some spots. They did find a fun area to explore.

Being very picky which doesn't really matter is the small amount of available outlets. It makes a difference if you have a family vs traveling as a couple.

Great location and a very simple, yet comfortable room worth the price. All areas are clean and well maintained. Staff is exceptionally helpful, even gave us an option to store our luggage for an extended period of time for a very cheap price.

It was rather cold in the room and available AC, despite having what was supposed to be a dedicated "heating" option, didn't go over 18 or so degrees. Kitchen area closing after 11PM is inconvenient if you plan to stay outside for longer.

Close to akihabara

No luggage storage space. we had to leave them near our bed. anyone could use or take it if they wanted too

It was surprisingly comfortable and quiet, very convenient and affordable.

The bathrooms were a little dirty and stinky, and the hallway was really warm even though the beds were ok.

location was nice and lounge was good since the desk in our room was unusable with the tv taking up all the space

gross room, smelled like a frat house. insanely noisy with paper thin walls and sound just bouncing under the large gap under the door on concrete floors. comforter under the sheet was mostly black it was so dirty

It was not our first time in Tokyo, we really appreciated the room space. The location is great as well.

Staff was friendly and tried their best. Seemed like almost everyone was a recent hire however and not very experienced.

It took not one, not two, but THREE tries to get assigned a bed in the dorm room before one was actually vacant. The first two had people in them! Then disaster struck my last night when I discovered my luggage was soaked on the bottom. I had noticed some water stains on the floor when i arrived and didn't think too much of it, but CLEARLY the spill from the nearby dehumidifier happens regularly, and CLEARLY they knew about this. Then why would you tell me to put my luggage on the floor under the bed??? It took hours and hours to go to the laundromat, hang, wring out socks etc so my clothes wouldn't get moldy or musty while traveling 12 hours across the planet home. Threw out a pair of pants that was stained from the japanese-indigo textile that had bled. Was really needless stress on my last night. Unfortunately will not be staying here again.

Great location in Akihabara. Very close to the metro to get anywhere. Lots of food within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good lobby area to relax or work from.

Room was very small and cramped. Couldn't open my bag fully without being stuck in the walkway. Capsule was small and hot.

Very well located, a 5 minute walk from Akihabara station so you can reach any point of the city.Was my first time in Japan, the staff was amazing making the experience very smooth, Gen's recommendations were spot on, Marie and Lea made me feel I was home.

No complains.

The neat alley before hostel that morning was disturbed by a dead mouse ?, leaving a vomiting image of the public cleaness of Akihabara

Toilet too narrow

We were very pleased with the Standard Double Room with Shared Shower. The room was larger than expected, considering how small most Japanese accommodations are. The shared bathrooms were kept very clean and we never had to wait for the showers, even though the rooms on our floor were fully booked. We rarely heard noises from other rooms or the halls. The hostel is located close to the train station, but in an area that is quiet. The facilities were perfect for our needs - good location with no frills.

No seating on roof.

Loved the location, amazing size of the room (unlike other Tokyo hotels) and good value for money. The shared bathroom had a damp smell and you could hear people in other rooms even if they’re just talking normally. Over all super good stay for a city trip if you value functionality over luxury

The bathrooms were filthy and seemed to never be cleaned on the 4th floor

Door closes at 23:00, you need to check in before then otherwise you won't be able to check in, and there's no option to self check in.Check at 16:00 was a bit inconvenient, you either wait around till then to check in or go back after dinner to pickup your keys.When we first got there the front desk lady was very rude, repeatedly asked my name despite the fact that I told her multiple times. Very impatient towards our questions.Later in the day when we went back another man helped us check in and he was easy-going and approachable! Once you are checked in you can come in and out at any time.Mattress is the softest I've ever slept on, bouncy and makes you sink into a V shape, not recommended.

The staff were so kind and friendly! There is a kettle and free tea and instant coffee in the communal area. The dorm was quiet at night and the beds were nice and dark so it was easy to sleep. There were enough stalls, sinks, and showers so İ never had to wait to use them. There seemed to be many people staying for business trips and the area was fairly laid back. İ will definitely stay here again next time İm in Tokyo!

The kitchen and the bathroom stalls could use a bit more thorough cleaning, but they werent uncomfortable to use.
