    Pros +

    • Great location and perfect for a comfortable night stay
    • The location is the best. It's close to the train station. Room is considered spacious for the price in Tokyo central.
    • location was good and lots of good dining options nearby

    Cons -

    • Room was small but very comfortable
    • room was a little bit small for a family with 2 kids
    • I didn’t like that the smoking area was accessed by passing through the laundry room, making the laundry room smell like smoke. Our clothes didn’t come out of the wash smelling smoky, but standing in there while managing the machines was tough. I wish the bed were on a platform allowing for suitcase storage underneath.

Perfect location, discreet entry, easy to find, nice sauna and soak upstairs, access to YouTube on the tv is a nice bonus. Rooms are tight but not unmanageable at all. Having climate control is helpful.

Staff was efficient, friendly & kind. The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the dining area and the quality of food served. The room & facilities were clean and wonderful!

We enjoyed every part of our stay.

    10BryanPosted on: 1-14-2026

Clean, fairly large with enough space to eat and store luggage. We used the upstairs coin laundry a few times which was very convenient. It was surrounded by convenience stores and restaurants, and a very short 3-4 minute walk to the train station, we even walked to the Imperial Palace but that was a bit more of a hike, 20 minutes or so. It is random but we liked the smell of their soaps and shampoos and almost bought some to bring home.

We had a corner room with an additional pull-out bed (doubled as a couch and a bed). Amenities were great. Not a ton of extra room, but the space was laid out very efficiently. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Shimbashi station - JR line, so quite convenient. We only stayed one date, but would have enjoyed some additional time there. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and kind, assisting us with a medical situation during our stay. While the breakfast was not included in our rate, we paid a small amount (1880 yen per person) and enjoyed it.

Breakfast was great - a lot of choices both Japanese and European. A nice sauna and hot bath.

    9BartoszPosted on: 12-18-2025

Great breakfast, heated toilet seats (I know it's standard in Japan :) ), quite clean.

Tiny rooms. Bed could be more comfortable

    Location, staff

Laundry facility in same area as smoking facility

    6KrzysztofPosted on: 12-15-2025

Very loud noises of delivery car delivering stuff at 3 AM. Every night it was making loud noises, for entire week. Poor sound insulation.

Good location, great breakfast, nice spa

Modern feel, clean with nice decorations and wonderful breakfast. Close to Tokyo station.

Misleading photos of the onsen. The photos with indoor outdoor public baths with views are for the men only. The women’s side baths are smaller and have no glass windows nor views. They are still nice, however, and have a spa feel.

    8JannaPosted on: 12-3-2025

A small stylish hotel close to Shimbashi station. The room, large by Tokyo standards, was quiet and comfortable. The onsen was a welcome addition. Breakfast offered a variety of Japanese and Western items. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

    5mehdiPosted on: 12-2-2025

Location near metro station and many restaurants

Rooms are extremely small, beds are uncomfortable hotel is old and need refresh, breakfast doesn’t offer a variety for tourist taste.

    8Borys T.Posted on: 12-1-2025

Modern hotel close to Shimbashi station, some 5-7 minutes walk. Many bars, restaurants and small supermarkets nearby. Hotel's mostly convenient and comfortable, checkout is easy and staff is helpful (though reception is not 24/7). Breakfast is exceptional, a changing variety of Japanese specialties mixed with more common options, all fresh and tasty. Checkout is as simple as dropping the cards at the box downstairs.

Room service is confusing - they don't do full service for log stays, but they still change towels and make up beds, but they don't replenish the coffee, and it could only be canceled via TV and there's no option to not exchange towels. It wasn't explained well on check-in so we had to read the room manual later. Rooms was tiny and didn't have any shelves, so we had to live off the open suitcase. Washing machines are nice to have, but there's only two for the whole hotel and one was broken, and they require coins (which, luckily, staff was ready to exchange).

    Comfy pajamas, spa & breakfast

    Smoking rooms were tiny

    9MichaelPosted on: 11-30-2025

Delicious breakfast. Convenient location. Small but comfortable and well designed room. Close to station. Many many many restaurants near.

I recently stayed at Candeo Hotels Shimbashi, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from Shimbashi Station—making it easy to explore Tokyo’s major districts, hop on the Yamanote Line, or enjoy the nearby restaurants and nightlife. Also tried one time (and paid for) the breakfast buffet - satisfactory.

    8YvettePosted on: 11-23-2025

The hotel is in a great location, 5 minute walk to train station, a lot of restaurants to choose from and a market close by. The room was clean.

It was nice having a large bed but it took up the entire room, a queen size bed would be much better. The breakfast was basic and did not have many healthy options for vegetarians. The staff was corgial but not friendly. It was expensive for what was offered.
