JR EAST HOTEL METS SHIBUYA

The location can't be beat.

The airconditioning in our room was less than satisfactory and after walking around all day in very hot Tokyo, it was almost unbearable. Also our non-smoking room smelled like smoke.

The staff were very helpful & kind. The hotel is connected to the train station which made it easy when coming & going, but we never heard the trains coming in when in our room. There is a microwave & washer/dryer on the lobby floor which was convenient.

The rooms are slightly small but this did not matter to us as we were mostly out and about in the city and only in the room in the evening.

The staff, from the lobby to the cleaning crew, was very helpful and friendly. They all made the stay wonderful. It was also easy to check in and out of the hotel.

There were no drawers or closets to store our clothes or personal items. It is fine for short trips, but inconvenient if we were on a longer stay. Difficult to find in Shibuya but near shopping, restaurants, convenience stores.

Close to everything. Lawson just across the street. Near other stations. The staff were awesome and friendly. I accidentally booked a smoking room and asked to change to a non-smoking room. Paid the difference in cost and we got a bigger room.

The staff made sure my stay was as enjoyable as possible. I recommend adding meals to your stay as the price was very affordable for outstanding quality.

If you didn't drive a car, buses are limited throughout the day and taxis can get expensive

The room was absolutely filled with mold. It was in the bathroom, hallway and can lights above the bed. I mentioned it to the staff, and they said all rooms were in the same condition. Yikes.

Conveniently located inside train station. Easy to find and get around. Bed and pillow were very comfortable.

No one spoke English very well.

The room size was reasonable for a Japanese train station. It was clean and comfortable and within a short walking distance to the hotel. The staff were very pleasant.

It was very difficult to find this hotel du to different levels out of the station and many stairways. Google maps was even confused.. Breakfast was terrible if you didn't want Japanese food. Most of it was col including the tea and coffee.

Location is perfect! The staff was so friendly ? the room was full clean every day.
