    Very Good

    Based on 886 reviews

    Pros +

    • Great location to station and food
    • Location was nice. Like the alley ways and closeness to the river.
    • Location was convenient to the train station. There is also a convenience store and several restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. There are locations on the 1st and 2nd floors where you can lock up your luggage should you arrive early.

    Cons -

    • Not great ventilation from bathroom
    • Indian buffet I tried it one day and it was okay. Would rather have more western style.
    • The rooms were tiny - like smaller than a crusie ship cabin. The bed was very firm and the pillows are the bead-type which were quite uncomfortable.

location was good, 3rd bed was a bit hard.....robot reception was a hoot!

The hotel's super close to two stations, with tons of convenience stores, groceries, pharmacies, and restaurants nearby. And the area's quiet and very peaceful at night.

    Room is small

    Location was good

Very small room. no coffee or bottle water. No parking. Staff speaks poor English.

The henna hotel was well priced and pretty comfortable. We enjoyed the location of the hotel as well, it was very close to asakusabashi station, and we really liked this neighborhood. It was really quiet and relaxed and a lot of restaurants in the area. Also very close to asakusa and akihabara. The check in process was probably the smoothest we had in all of our trip to japan. We used the pre checkin online process, and when we arrived the counters weren't even manned. You can just check in from a computer there.

This is more neutral, but i just wanted to put this here as informational. The henna hotels do not support forwarding luggage. You will need to bring your luggage to a 7-11 or family mart if you plan on using this service. They will receive luggage that you send to them however, and that works as normal.

Laundry area and the smart pack was very useful

    No microwave inside the room

Great position very well connected with the metro.

    Strange robots, breakfast unclear

    8Laurie A.Posted on: 11-15-2025

It was a relief that they had storage at the reception area where we placed our luggage prior to check in. The hotel was near the train station, kombini and places to eat.

Like most hotels in Japan the space was limited but it was enough for a family of three.

Great location - arrived directly from Narita airport, 5min walk from the station. A lot of restaurants and shops around. Facilities included pajamas, razors and bath towels. Unusual and fast check-in process with robots. The room is small, but well-organized. Liked the dryer machine for clothes.

A bit tiny room, was difficult to unpack big luggage. Breakfast was Indian style with a small assortment of foods, but acceptable.

Good location. Clean and nice reception staff :)

The room was small, but whe knew that

    10DwiartoPosted on: 11-10-2025

very close to the subwayvery close to the tourist spotstaff super friendly and helpful (yes and the robot too)room is clean

    the lobby is smelly

    8KylePosted on: 11-7-2025

The hotel is a great, affordable option. It is super close to the subway station (just around the corner) and is in a quiet area. Everything was very clean and the room was in great condition.

The beds were a bit firm, so keep that in mind pending the type of mattress you are used to, and there is no fan in the vent in the bathroom, so a shower turns it into the sauna. Overall, though, those were minor issues.

    10ZaidaPosted on: 11-3-2025

Nice location near convenience stores and a lot of izakayas.

Super cramped. Like really really cramped.

    10MitchellPosted on: 10-22-2025

Great location to start your Tokyo adventure. Decent size room. Great shower and bath. Lots of good places around the hotel.

Henn na Hotel Tokyo Asakusabashi is such a fun and unique place to stay! The robot staff add a quirky, futuristic charm that makes check-in a memorable experience. The self check-in system is quick and effortless, making everything smooth from the moment you arrive. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, perfect for a convenient stay in Tokyo with a playful twist.

The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side.

    8JolenePosted on: 10-14-2025

Booked the twin room and was beyond my expectations. Rooms in Tokyo and known to be small but with 17m2, I was able to open 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small luggage for unpacking with adequate space to walk still. The room was also comfortable and toilet had a decent amount of space. Overall very impressed. Plus, it was near the yellow line of Asakusabashi station, making it extra convenient and had konbinis within walking distance.

Air conditioning was a little bit noisy, not much of an issue. The pillow was rather uncomfortable initially but eventually got used to it.

    9JennilynPosted on: 10-13-2025

Great location. Easy to get in and out. Lots of food choices in neighborhood.

Room is small but already expected in a hotel.
