Pros +
- I loved the esthetics and the calm about this hotel. The Onsen was a true gift! The extras like snacks in the room, the dinning room and the onsen was a special treat.
- The hotel is in a very desirable location in Shinjuku. The onsen and breakfast there is an refreshing experience.
- The accommodations were very nice. The room with 2 twin beds was spacious for our 4pcs of luggage and extra bags. The onsen was fantastic - a great way to end our trip. The final meal at the restaurant was better than expected fulfilling our steak and seafood needs. 7-11 was directly across the street. Shopping and dining was within walking distance. A must stay!
Cons -
- The room was quite small so it took a bit more space management when usual.
- The room was very dusty and it would be helpful if there was an air purifier.

My go to place everytime I travel to Tokyo
The onsen and the location - in Shinjuku but in a quiet street
Location is decent as it is surrounded by excellent restaurants!
Room is ridiculously SMALL!The “onsen” is a hot tub as the water is just sitting there. Unless they clean it many times a day, I wouldn’t go back to soak in there.
Incredibly helpful staff. Beautiful onsen on the roof. Delicious breakfast.
We were not fans of the impersonal check-in/check-out process. Our room only had yukata/slippers/etc for two people, despite us having three guests, and there were no yukata at the hotel for our daughter, unfortunately.
The rooms are clean and cozy. the staff is amazing and super nice!
the toilet functions/bidet didn't always work for some reason. the Onsen was fully nude only... I did not expect that, which is the reason I didn't go and do the one thing I booked the room for.
The friendly staff, ambiance and peacefulness despite being in the middle of the city
We loved so much about this hotel: the relaxing onsen, perfect for a wind-down after long days of walking around Tokyo in the winter; the very comfortable beds and traditional and highly functional rooms, the proximity to the heart of Shinzuku but calm of a less trafficked neighborhood, the stunning entryway … it was all top notch.
Beautiful hotel. I loved the details - the snacks in the room, the yukata, the ice lollies for after the onsen... Our room was beautiful with a view over the city and space for suitcases. Comfortable bed, great shower products, nice and quiet. And on a different floor there was a laundry room with washing machine, vending machine, iron, kettle, microwave, ice etc. Tattoos allowed. The broader neighbourhood is worth exploring if you're a runner or have lots of time.
The area wasn't super convenient and I thought I had the wrong map destination because it didn't seem at all upmarket or a likely hotel area. I struggled with a lack of hanging space in the room, and would have liked extra towels to take to the onsen. There were directions for fastening the yukata and some basic info about onsen etiquette, but as an onsen first timer I would have appreciated a lot more info - slippers, socks, is it okay to wear the yukata around the hotel, towel details etc. And weirdly unflattering downward lighting, first time I've ever noticed this.
The room was perfectly suitable for a quick trip! We didn’t stay in it much, perfect for just sleeping. The onsen is great, it can just get crowded. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the popular area.
It was a little further from subway lines than I would’ve liked. I would’ve picked a more convenient location as a tourist trying to explore more of Tokyo. It was a little dusty and the room was very small (as most hotels are). Challenging if you have a lot of luggage. I’d recommend sizing up a room.
A clean hotel with amazing staff (English friendly) and great amenities (onsen & laundry/dryer) that is conveniently located in between at least 3 train stations.
The standard twin room was quite small. The shower was especially small.
I like the beds
I don't like that they didn't have actual AC in the room so it was getting pretty warm throughout the night especially because I'm going through menopause.
It was lovely , comfortable and quiet. That’s what we needed for our trip. The spa was a must.
I expected the room a bit bigger.
Great location, walk to everything in Shinjuku. Superb staff assistance. Wonderful onsen looking out over the city. Very clean. Quiet and spa-like facilities.
Bedroom space is tight for two people but that's expected in a big city and we managed fine.
The rooftop onsen was amazing! Breakfast was delicious as well. Excellent amenities including the blowdryers in the onsen and the snacks.
Our room was a bit cramped.
The onsen facilities, the location with the seven eleven outside, and the amenities provided
The bed was too small for two people
Amazing location, the interior is cozy and intimate. The view from the onsen is beautiful. The staff were always nice and cordial.
Really beautiful facilities, modern and clean rooms.
Location was a bit of a walk from train lines.
Great location, not far from Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Friendly staff and good service.
Nothing to complain about.
