Daiwa Roynet Hotel Shimbashi

Location is the one of best, so many places to eat, close to station and walkable distance from Ginza.

Room is smaller than expected, but other good things will cover it.

The location is amazing, close to Ginza and the Imperial Palace, and adjacent to most major subway and bullet train lines.

The rooms are exceptionally small. But, that is the value/location tradeoff to be made if choosing this hotel.

Great location, it was very clean, and well run.

The only issue is the clothes dryers were very slow to dry clothes, requiring many cycles.

We didn’t avail breakfast. Location is good except for the noise from the train.

Clean and efficient hotel. Seemed like a mix of mid-range tourists and Japanese businessmen. Rooms are big enough for one person but tight for two, so great for solo travelers or people not sharing a room. Surprisingly no noise passed through the walls and I barely heard the train despite being right by the tracks at Shimbash.

Could've used some kind of storage but I wasn't expecting much. Overall everything was fine.

I stayed with my family (2 adults + kid) for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's location is a real highlight; being just a few steps from Shimbashi station made getting around Tokyo with a child incredibly easy. You can also enjoy a lovely 20-minute walk to the Imperial Palace one morning.The hotel itself is spotless, comfortable, and clearly well-maintained. What really stood out was the staff's kindness. They allowed us to check in two hours early. They also noticed we were a family of three and generously offered us a larger room at no extra cost, which gave us plenty of space and was a very thoughtful touch.Overall, it was an excellent value for the price. A clean, comfortable hotel in a prime location with truly helpful staff. We would happily recommend it to other families visiting Tokyo.

Cleanliness, appears new, pleasant shower room, and a comfortable bed. A vanity kit would have been a nice addition.

I liked that the room was very quiet and that the hotel was in a convenient locations to shopping and restaurants. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the hotel. Staff and the front desk and restaurant were very helpful.

The location was great — really close to the station, which made getting around easy. Overall, the stay was fine, but the room was very small for a group of six. I had mentioned from the beginning that we were six people, but I was still asked to pay more for extra beds. That was frustrating, especially since I had clearly stated our group size when making the reservation.

This hotel is very clean! The train station is very close, and overall the facilities are great. I was very appreciative of the various toiletries options that this hotel provided. Part of the reason in staying at this chain of hotels is the wide variety of toiletries they provide.

Everything specially the free coffee and tea. Staff was friendly and great, also spoke good English.

No easy access to use stairs- elevators often crowded. Room was very tight, but comfortable.

Spacious twin room by Tokyo standards, very comfortable and comes with a pretty big bathroom too. Free 'amenities bar' in the lobby was nice.The pyjamas provided were great quality. Close to nearby train stations.

Didn't seem to have many dining options near the hotel. No coffee making facilities in the room.

The smoking room is located at the entrance floor so the hole flore and the elevators smell from cigarettes. We were traveling with kids and we didn’t like it.

Location is great. Right next to the station and some cool restaurants and bars.

The room was tiny. And a bit dark. If you want to check in early you have to pay for an extra night. Which I appreciate is likely standard.
