THE KITANO HOTEL TOKYO

We could not fault the Kitano. Great location, just a few steps away from a metro station. Attentive and helpful staff. Impeccably clean and comfortable rooms and facilities. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The WiFi was very poor

From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like we were the only customers staying there. The rooms were larger than expected and immaculate. The free in-room amenities of water, soft drinks, and BEER, was a real nice touch. I had run out of shaving cream but there was no need to go to the front desk or run to a local convenient store. It was already in the room. Those kinds of extras made the stay that much more relaxing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tokyo.

I would have liked the option of being able to sleep three people in one room instead of having to pay for two separate rooms.

Quiet, classy hotel at outstanding value in Tokyo’s insanely priced luxury hotel market. Everything feels 5 star, from the aesthetics to the service to the room amenities. Small touches like a tea set, full box of toiletries, even umbrellas to take on a rainy day. The staff is extremely accommodating and professional, and the room was large and tastefully decorated. Would absolutely stay there again

Nothing not to like unless you are into full service, big chain hotels with all the extras. The only downside for some might be the location, which requires a decent walk or subway ride to get to most of the major sites. For us, we appreciated the quiet. That said, the Nagatachō metro station is directly across the street and will take you anywhere you need to go. Akasaka area is about a 15 minute walk and has tons of restaurants and stores.

Clean and spacious room, located in a quiet area just east of Akasaka. Hotel staff were kind and extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel welcome during our stay. Hotel is close to a few different metro lines making travel around Tokyo easy.

The bed was a bit hard to our liking. Location was OK, a walk is required if you're looking to dine outside of the hotel.

The property is conveniently located: a couple of minutes walk to the subway, there is a convenient store nearby also, many restaurants at walking distance. Staff is superb! Room is huge, western style.

Excellent, larger hotel room. Everything was great - the room was on the basic side in comparison to other places we stayed, but it was clean and large. The staff were excellent. location great.

Service and hotel were great. They were very accomodating.

Bed was a bit too hard. They had an assortment of pillows.

Family of four with two rooms. Staff was excellent, facilities felt new and well maintained, location next to a metro station was good. Easy walk to shops and restaurants in Akasaka.

Would have liked a more ‘informal’ breakfast option.

Just convenient because the subway is close. Quiet and confortable room.

Nothing around is an area of offices. No interesting and expensive for what is the hotel.

the area was prettee central to all the other areas we needed to get to and the subway was right outside our doortaxis were easily accessable too, also uber does work in Japan!The beds were hard as a rcck, but the breakfast was lovely very much like an amuse bouche after doin it twice you would like more variety .The washer and Dryer we could use ourselves was verreee handy and soaker tubs in rooms were supper great after a long day of walking aroundThe rooms were a pretty good size

Beds were hard as a rock tooo hard for me !!! also to have a kingsize room was like double the price ,the french restarant had a limited menue also super expensive

Wonderful Japanese hospitality. Boutique hotel with fabulous service and large comfortable rooms.

Intimate-sized property with large, well-designed rooms in a convenient central Tokyo location.

Neighborhood is convenient but quiet. Gym in hotel is small and no sauna or steam room.

Initial room was towards the street and therefore too noisy for the price.On request I got a room to the backyard at a ok price uptick.

Staying at the Kitano was a beautiful experience. First, the staff are all top notch and very helpful, responding immediately to questions and requests. The hotel is extremely clean, well appointed and newly furnished. The view of Tokyo from our room on the 8th floor was gorgeous. This hotel is walking distance to the subways so the entire city of Tokyo is readily available via train or taxi. When we travel to Tokyo next time we will stay at Kitano again.

Nothing, it is as perfect as you can get.

Too many "bad things" happened. Mixup and they gave same room to two guests, wifi blanks out every 45 minutes or so, etc. nothing really bad but just a lot of annoying little things.

Location was ok. My room view was just average.Gym super small and the mirror there made me dizzy.

Excellent location, and helped us change rooms. Loved the on-site laundry service. Even arranged shipment of our luggage.

Breakfast was disappointing, glad we did not sign up for the plan. Nothing wrong just minuscule and not worth it.
