    Pros +

    • Liked the location, facilities and cleanliness of the room.
    • Amazing location and friendly staff
    • The location - the vibe - the staff and the restaurant attached to to.

    Cons -

    • Not worth 900$ a night - there are other hotels that could provide more for that price!
    • Lobby can get very busy with people who aren’t hotel guests
    • There aren't many amenities at this property (for the price). There is no pool, onsen/spa, or even rooftop area. The restaurant breakfast was tasty, but limited compared to other properties we stayed in throughout Japan.

The hotel is in an excellent location and is a buzzing, vibrant property. There is plenty of great shopping and restaurants in the are, and its a western traveler-friendly neighborhood; but at the same time, the property still had many Japanese guests and didn't feel "touristy." The rooms are well equipped and we enjoyed having a balcony with ours. The hotel offers luggage shipping which is convenient, and also helped with restaurant recommendations/bookings ahead of our arrival.

There aren't many amenities at this property (for the price). There is no pool, onsen/spa, or even rooftop area. The restaurant breakfast was tasty, but limited compared to other properties we stayed in throughout Japan.

Stylish and vibrant hotel in a quiet pocket in Harajuku, Shibuya.,

    9YuvalPosted on: 4-19-2025

Great location and fantastic service. The place is beautiful.

The main issue we had is they do events daily for non hotel guests, and the lobby is always packed with outside people, so you can't enjoy the bar or lobby area peacefully.

    Spacious, clean, comfortable, good location

    It is expensive

    9LeaPosted on: 4-4-2025

Location is top-notch, right in the trendy neighborhood of Harajuku. The room was spacious and very bright, with a large balcony. I’d just note that, given the hotel's price positioning, the room could use a bit of paint maintenance. A warm welcome and very attentive staff.

Very tasteful interior, super friendly staff and very helpful (with bookings and recommendations) - highly recommended

    Very cool location and lobby.

“queen” bed was more like full size. tiny and the firmest mattress we had our whole trip. aka uncomfortable.

    9HelenPosted on: 3-8-2025

Really lovely design throughout the hotel and the location is perfect! The staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was brilliant - a real treat.

The room we were in was right next to an automatic door, a little noisy which was a shame but not enough to be a major issues.

    Location & design

A little overpriced & lobby packed with people

    8キャロリンPosted on: 2-27-2025

the staff, the minibar, the restaurant

no onsen nor gym in the property, no spa nor massage room

    8JosephinePosted on: 2-14-2025

The staff were excellent, the balcony, the restaurants, personalised and thoughtful touches

The bed and room would have been tight for 2 people, especially without a work space.

    10MadelinePosted on: 2-1-2025

Everything was great- the design, location, comfort, and definitely the service. Every staff member we interacted with from the restaurants to the bartenders to the concierge was so helpful and fun!

Nothing, we will definitely stay here again

    8JemimaPosted on: 1-18-2025

Loved the design and location and buzzy atmosphere - in the heart of Shibuya / Cat Street. Great shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Thoughtful room details included pajamas, turn down service, fresh flowers changed daily, and sleep spray

No explanation of amenities and restaurants provided upon check in

    9PhilippPosted on: 1-14-2025

    - Exceptional friendly staff! The best. Felt very welcome- Atmosphere - Location - free bike rental

    - the ‚Set breakfast‘ deal did not work for me. Too much a mix of different things, nothing done perfectly. Also would have preferred to experience Japanese breakfast culture over Western - gym or yoga room would have been great- can get a bit pricey for what it is- the standard double rooms are ultra small with no wardrobe…just be aware of this. For one person no problem…

    7ClairePosted on: 11-29-2024

Comfiest bed we’ve stayed in in Japan and there was plenty room for our luggage in the room.

The room wifi was poor at times - probably the worst we’ve had in Japan. Some of the design choices in the room seem to prioritise aesthetics over utility. There’s generally very limited facilities for a hotel of this price.

    10SusanPosted on: 11-2-2024

Clean, modern, aesthetically appealing, young, hip, the place to be in Tokyo, really nice young employees who went out of their way to make me feel special. When I arrived they welcomed me personally and fried my suitcases from the rain. The house cleaning was impeccable. I’ve never seen a more perfectly made bed. The design was simple. The lounge has the best vibe for working on your laptop with an oatmilk vanilla latte from the bar.

Spacious rooms are rare in Japan, so I wasn’t too surprised, but I did find it unusual that the room had no cupboards or drawers. I was traveling solo, and even then, it felt tight to fit both myself and my large luggage comfortably – it would be challenging with two people and their bags! When I mentioned it to the front desk, they were very understanding and explained that space is indeed a premium in Tokyo. I adapted by keeping my clothes in my suitcase and laying out what I needed on the floor. It worked out fine, and ultimately, that’s part of the experience here in Japan!

Staff and services were incredible! We arrived 5 hours early and they checked us in and dropped our luggage in room, which allowed us to travel light until the proper checkin time.
