Staff was great and hotel was clean

Although the Tokyo metro train station was near by, you would need to walk a little further to get to a JR line

The room although very small was comfortable.

Staff attitude needs to improve. They were helpful but lacked customer service skills.

The location was amazing, and considering Japan, the room was a fair size. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would absolutely recommend and return when I find myself back in Tokyo.

The lobby / elevator was hot. In summer it was a bit uncomfortable, but the room was nice and cool!

Convenient location near Oedo subway line entrance, nice rooms that felt very fresh and clean.

Convenient location close the train station, quick ride to Shibuya and Harajuku. Check-in was quick and easy. Clean and spacious enough for the price and location.

It was perfect for us as a first place in Tokyo, easy to find, super close to the underground, not too many people, spacious and very clean rooms. All in all were super happy with our stay.

The beds were a little hard

Great new hotel with good bed and shower. Close to shops and restaurants. Metro entrance on 30 meters.

A bit small room for 2 and no breakfast possibilities. But Walton’s is close by where you can get breakfast and coffee

We were arriving after the front desk closed (11pm) and were supposed to receive self check in details by email but this didn’t happen. Luckily we were able to enter the hotel as someone was exiting as we arrived and then use the reception phone to contact staff to get access to our room. Wasn’t ideal.

The hotel location is great, it’s next to a Lawson and train station. 10mins walk to the busy Shinjuku area. The room is also the most spacious one we stayed in Japan, we push the single beds together and we can open 2 large and 1 small luggage fully. Hotel also does house keeping everyday.

It’s opposite to a hospital so you will hear ambulance throughout the night sometimes but we are dead tired from all the walking so we slept through while staying here.

Washer and dryer are not advertised properly and unless you have the high end room you are not allowed to use them.

Exactly as expected. Small but functional. Close to lots of things but not right in the hustle and bustle.

Domo hotel is a regular 3 star hotel, so don't expect a high end accommodation. You get what you pay for. With that said, all the basic requirements are all there. I like it that they changed our towels every day and threw the tiny garbages in our rooms also every day. Are Japanese garbage cans in hotels really that tiny? lol! The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to a train station and around 15 minute walk to Shinjuku center. So location is fair. Also, surprisingly, the room is a little larger than most budget hotel rooms i stayed in Japan.

We went during winter and the heater was not working. We were freezing for three nights. Other than that, we have no other complaints about this hotel.

Great location, great price! The building's exterior is an architecture nerd's wet dream. The building even won a design award. The rooms were adequately sized for Tokyo.

Rooms were visibly dusty and walls were all banged up. The windows also aren't fully sealed so the cold seeped into the room. The airconditioner was also very loud gurgling and making weird sounds but we were too tired after each day for it to really bother us.

good location, very near to higashi shinjuku location.

the room is rather small with minimum window. there are balcony but non accessible and look like it shared with the other room.

Great location, in front of the station , next to the convinient store, they receptionist was very welcome and take care my things on it

The modern exterior of the building looked attractive, and I loved that there was a Lawson's next door.

It looked a lot nicer and cleaner in the photos. Our room was passably clean. There were scuff marks all over the walls, and I kept my slippers on because the carpet didn't look very clean. I picked this hotel because I thought it would have a calm and "Japandi" aesthetic, but it looked scrappy in real life.

The Location is near to Hinagashi Shinjuku Station and convenient stores like Lawson. Smooth check in. The room is spacious and clean.
