APA Hotel Ueno Ekikita

Price was very good

A fine hotel for 3 stars. Elevator was a little slow and everything was small but within a reasonable expectation. No complaints at all.

Only one lift within the hotel. Wait very long time to take it.

Pretty close to Ueno Station, small but decent rooms.

I neede to stay near ueno Station and this Hotel offered that!!!The desk service are super nice.We had a plane to catch the next day from Narita airport and the hotel was 7 minutes away by foot.We also found last minute souvenirs near by!!

The room was clean and provides the sufficient amenities for a comfortable stay, and the water in the toilet warms up very quickly. What impressed me the most was the quality of the staffs working there who were very receptive with our check in procedure and the assistance we required.

Depending on the perpective, the hotel can be considered far from the Iriya Gate of the Ueno station. The walking space inside the room is also narrow and therefore may not be suitable for travellers with large or many luggages.

The location. You shouldn't call it Ueno. It's quite far from the station. And it was really difficult to find it.The bathroom unit was high. It was not on the same level as the floor and it was very difficult to use.

Small room

Good value breakfast enough choices for our 3 night stay, very helpful breakfast staff. The location near Ueno station is the m ain reason for the stay.

Deluxe double room is small but we knew that 118 sq ft would be a challenge. Air conditioning not under your control or even available during (heating months). Luckily the 2 windows on our corner deluxe room opened and the breeze cooled you down at night. But, leaving the windows open was much louder at night, even on 13th floor. The train rumbling isn't the problem, it is the emergency sirens that happen a few times each night.

the room was "cozy" (small)...perfect for one person, tight for two.

We stayed here our first night in Japan. It was quiet and clean and close to Ueno station which was important for us as we were heading north to Sendai first thing the next morning.

I knew the hotel rooms in Japan would be small however I found the bathroom here to be quite small.

Located some 10 minutes walking from Ueno station. Room is small but well equipped. Different bars and restaurants available in the area, as well as convenience stores.

Rooms with a view on the street are a bit noisy (much noise from the traffic).

There is a lot of dust in the room. It is difficult to breathe. My face is slightly allergic. I would like to see this improved.

Location, good size bathtub, good service with towels, pajamas, breakfast, very sincere helpful staff.

Looks very close to Ueno station, but the entrance is far. Wished had a big public bath.
