Friendly staff, great location

Room is small but ok for 2 ppl

The staff was very nice and helpful and spoke English . The architecture of the hotel was unexpected: it felt like a 12 floors parking garage with room on the outside , the rooms were very clean , small but still comfortable . The location is really good

It was just right for the price asking

The pillows and comforter were top rate. Hotel Employee were delightful and helpful. Gave us a choice of rooms. Would only recommend for young travelers that adjust well, not seniors.

The room was extremely small. No dresser for clothes. No room for suitcases. Evening staff (male) did not know how long we could talk on the pay phone before it disconnected call. No $$ consideration when we left 2 days early due to flu.

Location is near to Ueno Station, around 5-10mins walking distance. And when the time I'm staying it's also having Tanabata Festival, just need to cross the road and will reach the street that selling different kind of things.

The front desk staff responded promptly when I complained about loud neighbors.

The room reeked of mildew and smoke. I was very disappointed considering the cost.

The room was great. Best toilet! Helpful staff. Didn't have the breakfast. Small, unassuming lobby, but great espresso maker and nice to sit in while having a snack from Lawsons across the street

It was better than expected. Upon arriving at night the area seemed spooky with few people in the street, but it was fine. The central area is made of cement and feels worn

Location to the Ueno Train station and local sites of interest was good. Nice walk to the Asakusa area from here. The shower in our room was great. High pressure and temperature

We knew the rooms were small, ours was 11m square but it felt like a cell. No views to the outside at all

The size of the room was tiny. We had a hard time moving around the room with two big luggages, two small luggage and two people. Every open space was occupied.

Very tight space, narrow room. You'll live on your bed. Reception/ dining area had little space and no atmosphere. About a 12 to 14 min walk to station.Pillow was thin and hard.

Rooms are quite dark unless the bathroom door is open as that is where the windows are.

Bare bones hotel. VERY small rooms - can’t pas each other beside the bed. Great shower pressure. Decent breakfast for 1000 yen. Staff very nice, helpful. Great location to Ueno park which is amazing - 5 museums, a zoo, great for cherry blossoms.

We did enjoy the location, close to station and close enough to the Keisei skyliner. The staff were immensely helpful, we needed something delivered within Japan and they did everything except write on the delivery slip (we did pay, but was nice nonetheless).

Our room was so small and nothing special about the place, although nothing really stands out to complain about.

The check in was quick as well as the check out. They hold your bags for the day if needed. The bed was comfortable and large. Staff was helpful.

Walls were scuffed up. Not many areas to put luggage. The bathroom shower could use an update. Pillows could use an update.

Location is nice. Very close to Ueno Park, and Ueno Station, which is a big hub. Not a fancy place, but decent and clean and comfortable.

Clean room and friendly staff. Rooms were small and hard to find room for our luggage but it was just for one night and hardly there so it was OK

Bathroom is big. Price is cheaper than most hotels. Staff are kind. There's free water in the lobby.

It was way smaller than photos on website. Couldn’t even open a small suit case in the room. My daughter had a sore throat when we turn on heater. Maybe the filter is dirty or molded?
