    Pros +

    • The staff were phenomenal, very nice, much more polite than I expected for a 3* hotel, always greeting guests passing through the lobby and the staff member manning the door after hours does a formal bow when you enter.
    • Location perfect! Clean, small but with all necessities. Service good too!
    • Location means easy access to many stores, attractions and the station. Also the self storage lockers located in lobby are great for those checking in or out but don’t want to drag around large suitcases.

    Cons -

    • The mattress is very firm and the bathroom smells. There's an unpleasant smell from the bathroom, likely the drains/toilet. Leaving the door open for air circulation didn't help. The smell is coming from something in the bathroom.
    • Not much
    • The narrow elevators make it hard for multiple people with suitcases to use them at peak times.

The staff were very kind and patient. The cleaning crew left fresh towels at my door when I had 'do not disturb' at my room, very appreciative. The neighborhood was lovely, lots to do. The complementary cold towels were appreciated. Staying here again.

I wish I stayed longer. I had another hotel that I was staying at before this one. I regret not picking this one first.

There is literally no better location than this. It is midway between sunshine city, ikebukuro station, and a subway station. It is STEPS away from sunshine 60. You cannot compete with this location it was so unbelievably easy to navigate Tokyo from here. The staff was extremely nice and the amenities were good. The bed was a bit hard as other reviews say, but not as hard as other mattresses I’ve had while traveling the Asian continent, so don’t let that throw you off. Really phenomenal stay all around I’ve already recommended staying here to some friends. It’s also right on top of a cafe and a family mart which is extremely convenient. There are hundreds of restaurants within a five minute walk.

    I loved it no complaints.

Convenient location. Staff very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The small accommodations and travel help by the elevator very helpful. Great cleaning and on time, easy to understand schedule.

Bed a little bit too hard. Breakfast food had very little breakfast food, had a lot of lunch or dinner foods, and no variety

The staff were so kind and helpful. Even when there was some language barriers. The staff still tried to help me. I liked the location. It was a few minutes away from the subway station which was great. Housekeeping did great with replacing my towels and cleaning my room.

My pillow was a little tough but it wasn't too bad.

Great location. Just a few blocks away from the station. Near shopping area. There is a family mart and coffee shop just beside the hotel. Room is spacious enough for 1 person.

    8JamesPosted on: 8-6-2025

The hotel is bit far from the station, especially in the summer heat. The hotel seems fairly new and was therefore in good shape and clean. The bed was a bit hard, but that is a personal preference.

I had no problem, but some tourists may not like how far it is from central Tokyo and popular tourist attractions like SkyTree and Disney. But it is close to Shinjuku, Harajuku and Shibuya.

Very close to Ikebukuro station and the single rooms are perfect for solo travellers.

Rooms were a bit small; no room to fully open a regular plane suitcase in a solo room.

Convenient, clean, well equipped, staff was excellent

Too many towels delivered. Pressure to have cleaning more often than necessary

    10farahPosted on: 5-30-2025

Very strategic, near the ikebukuro rail station. Cozy environment, clean room, nice staff and to perfection there’s family mart downstairs that open 24 hr a day. Surely we”ll be back to Keio Presso Inn :)

The bench in front of the hotel, due to many customers of family mart are sometimes throw the garbage away. That’s one thing that i didn’t like.

The staff was super friendly, the reception staff were always helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is incredible. I was on the 13th floor, and the views were incredible.

I loved how friendly the staff were. The location was amazing. It was great value.

    The bed was very stiff.

    Location is great

My aunt’s room which is near the laundry room, she can’t sleep well as she could overheard the noise from the laundry room

    8JiaPosted on: 3-8-2025

I enjoyed the location of this hotel especially for visitors who likes anime or shopping, it is super near to the main anime and shopping streets. The room assigned to us was facing the wall of the next building, there was no view to see but it quite expected for most hotels in city centre. Washing machines and dryers can be found almost at each floor, so it is quite accessible for those who needs them. The room is clean and they will provide new towels each day. There is still cold aircon options even during winter which is hard to find at Hokkaido and Aomori. The staffs are friendly and welcoming.

As usual, the room was not spacious and it was hard to fit 2 large luggages. The bed could also be larger for 2 average adults. The fridge does not have the freezing compartment. Otherwise, everything else are pretty good.

    9ImogenPosted on: 2-2-2025

Close to main stations and sunshine city shopping centre - within 10min walk

Breakfast at the hotel was quiet expensive in comparison to the many options for food nearby the property
