    Pros +

    • Sanco Inn Tokyo was an outstanding hotel! The room and overall hotel was spotless! The hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating! The breakfasts were superior! I highly recommend this hotel!
    • The room was more spacious than the other two rooms that I stayed in while I was in Tokyo. The sink is located outside the bathroom and the toilet had its own room and the shower/tub also had its own room which was nice. The distance to the daimon station and hamamatsucho was great! Both stations had elevators if you need it. I felt safe walking in the area at night and there were some food options that opened a bit late even though they aren’t the best but at least it’s there. You can also get free sheet mask for your face and scented bath salts for your bath. It was very quiet and I never ran into anyone on my floor. I had a great view of the city which I liked. I enjoyed the tv right in front of the bed.
    • Staff was excellent, Customer Service VERY good. Everybody was polite, courteous, attentive and kind. Hotel's location is perfect. Rooms are comfortable although a little smaller than they appear online, good for one person but if two, would feel a bit crowded. Very clean and very comfortable though.

    Cons -

    • The floor in front of my door had hairs when I checked in .. they may need to be better about vacuuming. The pillow I got from the pillow bar smelled like cigarettes. I got another one the next day but it still smelled a little of cigarettes.
    • Breakfast. Food was good, selection of items was good but this felt like a limited breakfast for what you pay. When travelling I always book rooms with Breakfast Plan but in this case, I don't recommend it. Next time here, I would book room without Breakfast, pay less for the room & eat breakfast outside the hotel. Again - food was prepared well, it was delicious but too little for what I paid.
    • Small rooms but that’s ok and to be expected

I am impressed with the cleanliness and the thoughtfulness this hotel has put into making their guests comfortable. I could choose my pillow height, get extra blankets, borrow certain items like Iron boards, and choose skincare, haircare products from a well-equipped product bar. Everything I needed to make my stay comfortable was in the room including a small fridge. The breakfast was lovely - mostly Japanese cuisine - for someone with milk allergy, this has been very helpful. Highly recommend for solo travelling/business and perhaps a couple. Space, however, is limited in the room.

The location was optimal. Walking distance from great landmarks and just 1 short train away from Haneda Airport. The staff was very helpful.

The room was extremely small. 2 people with one suitcase each was enough to not being able to walk around. The bed itself had one side on the wall, meaning one of us couldn't get in or out of bed without going through the other one. Also: 2 washing machines for the whole building made them very hard to find free.

Breakfast was excellent, many choices of food, primarily Japanese style breakfast food, which is what I wanted. The staff was excellent. The staff members were able to help me with the check in process as well as other questions despite my lack of Japanese language ability. I really appreciate their courteous help.

Nothing. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Everything. Very cozy for one people in the room. We paid for the lowest price of the room, and it's beyond our expectations

Location was great; very convenient to multiple lines that got us to all parts of Tokyo easily. Room size wasn't huge, but actually a little larger than standard Tokyo double rooms so that was actually a nice surprise. Liked that the toilet and shower areas were separate. Made it easier for 2 people to get ready in the morning.

A/C didn't work really well; it was acceptable, but never really got very cool in our room.

The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was small but pretty good. One special thing made me feel very warm was the hotel provided small towels in the lobby for guests to take on the rainy day. I never had this service before. It made me feel that I was really taken good care of, even though I went outside of the hotel. This was a very warm feeling especially when I traveled alone in a foreign country. I appreciate the small towel very much, since I could use it to wipe myself and keep dry during the day out. Also the washer/dryer is very efficient, which I didn't find common in other hotel laundry facilities.

    Convenient budget hotel

Japanese breakfast only and so better non-Japanese breakfast options would be ideal.

    9SouichiroPosted on: 5-4-2025

Good room, wonderful staff, and excellent breakfast for this class of hotel. As a Japanese living abroad, I spent many nights in Tokyo for my business and personal trips in last 10+ years, and this hotel is clearly a top tier one for my style of stay. Room: standard Tokyo size but toilet and bathroom are separated. Location: excellent as the hotel is in walking distance from both Hamamatsucho station and Daimon station, which are directly accessible from Haneda Airport by Keikyu Line or Tokyo Monorail. Breakfast: Primarily Japanese style of quality ingredients (some local foods were offered when I stayed). Excellent to enjoy the first/last quality Japanese-style breakfast after/before the flight, without paying sky-high near the Airport. Staff: Professional, friendly, and caring staffs who represent Japanese hospitality in a comfortable way.

    Nothing in particular.

Location is good. There are two beautiful gardens near by and we found a really nice Italian restaurant as well. Ginza and Imperial parks are near, too. Also easy ride to Shinjuku. We also enjoyed free bath salts every night.

The room was rather dark without the sun light.

Great hot and cold breakfast made with fresh ingredients. Good location for public transport (20 min. from HND airport). Free wifi. Many restaurants nearby. Good value for the price.

    9Armille J.Posted on: 4-17-2025

Staffs are helpful. Generous in amenities/toiletries. Proximity to train stations ( 2 stations nearby), a lot if of restaurants, and close to some attractions such as the Tokyo Tower, we enjoyed our late night walk after having a bowl of ramen.

Wish there were more breakfast food selections but what was served was still good. We enjoyed it.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was convenient. Close to subway and monorail

The room was very small. Food selection was very limited for breakfast especially for western style and also pricer

    7陳妍伃Posted on: 3-25-2025

The location is the best. Restaurants and subway stations are closed.

You can hear the voices from the hallway and the elevator. And it's deafening in the morning since they were cleaning.

    8LilyPosted on: 3-15-2025

Paid more for a larger room making the stay more comfortable. Well located near south exit of Hamamatsucho station. Lots of restaurants nearby with a range of cuisine and suited for different budgets.

Staff was unable to assist in making a restaurant booking

The location is good when it's a public holiday. Actually it's situated in the business area. So, you can imagine how crowded and busy the location is if it's a working day. The hotel is more like for business or people who come there for conferences or business meetings. So, a nice set of resources like slippers and towels are provided. The toilet and shower room are separate. You can actually enjoy a mini onsen in the shower room as there is an area for showering and a tub for onsen. The room has good sound proof which you can enjoy a quiet night sleep. One good thing about this hotel is that they have eight types of pillows for you to choose from as they are selling pillows. There is also a list of resources you can choose at the lobby like masks, mouth washers, perfume etc. I think it's nice service.
