    Pros +

    • Great location friendly staff and cool to have room with own bathroom. Beds comfy
    • The location in Shinjuku is the best part of this hotel.
    • The girl at the front desk with the lip ring was super sweet and friendly, she made me feel very good welcomed. Location is very close to the station.

    Cons -

    • it was visibly dirty and i couldn't tell if the lock on the door worked or not. i left
    • I knew it was going to small, going into it. The description of the hotel was accurate.
    • I wish there were signs out front. My gps led me right past it and I walked for a long time in circles trying to find it. Also there are no stairs— not a problem for me personally because I was on the second floor, haha.

Well, I did stay one week that hotel did easy walking to Shinjuku station & nightlifes because I least good budget and sleep well plus more times for Tokyo see-sighting’s and Deaflympics events! ?

Which I stay a double bed but notice a bathroom bit small tight room as good for mid-tall height not 6Ft 2ins taller! ?

Located a few steps away from the New South Exit of Shinjuku Station. It is very convenient when you are riding the Narita Express to Narita Airport.

The toilet in my room was just a regular toilet and not an automatic toilet.

    Close to Shinjuku station.

    Cramped, bathroom was tiny.

    8John R.Posted on: 12-11-2025

The location was ideal, quiet neighborhood but still accessible to Shinjuku stations.

    10ShirleyPosted on: 12-5-2025

The hotel is near the station, clean and quiet.

The room is small but we knew that ahead. For the price we paid, it was a great value.

it's super close to shinjuku station. The room comes with a bathroom, and the area is pretty calm, considering that it is really close to Shinjuku nightlife. always felt safe. I walked alone back to the hotel at 4 a.m., and all was good. It comes with a small kitchen, I didn't use, so I'm not sure if it works.

The receptionist with dyed blond hair and eyebrows gave me an attitude when I first got there. Other than her, all the other workers were very kind. There was a hole above the bedframe of the bed, inside there were dust and I'm not sure what else, but I was afraid of a bug or spider to come out from there, thankfully the the receptionist with the attitude gave me tape after rolling her eyes, to cover it. the room smell was moldy, I got used to it, but the first night was rough. under the bed, there is a layer of dust, the bathroom has mold, and the curtains smell weird. The room had a weird sound at night coming from a corner. there's no elevator, so pulling my luggage was a challenge.

Location near the train station. Clear instruction to hotel.

    Room dim.

Great location super close to shinjuku station, bed was comfy

If you have a lot of luggage it can be inconvenient to be on the upper floors without an elevator. Room is a little small so it could be hard to pack a large suitcase.

staff very helpful and nice , great location

small room but normal in tokyo :)

Close to Shinjuku station and a couple convenience stores. I liked the artistic vibe. The staff was kind enough to carry my bag up the 4 flights of stairs to my room when I arrived.

The location was excellent, it had everything we needed, and it was comfortable. Plus the staff are artsy people. This is an older (post WWII?) multistory building in an unassuming residential neighborhood just behind a major street about 1/4 mi. away from the JR Shinjuku Station. The area around the Station really rocks. But the hotel is nice and quiet, plus Exit 7 of the Tokyo subway station is only 1/2 block away. The apartment appeared spartan but it had everything that one needs-- a cocoon-like bed, tiny bathroom, ad functional kitchen. Fresh towels appeared every day. The mini-split HVAC worked perfectly. And because you're near the Shinjuku Gyoen National Park, the birds will wake you each morning. If you don't mind edgy decor on a shoestring budget, you'll appreciate this competitively priced hotel.

The lighting could have been a little softer. For an edgy industrial look, the designers used bare bulbs in our room. We coped by selectively using a the lights; a couple of lights with shades would have worked even better.

A good location good to Tokyo Metro and JR Lines in Shinjuku. Staff was very nice and even brought my luggage to my room for check-in.

The room did not have proper curtains to block the light

Location Location Location at rock bottom prices...

When I'm traveling solo, this is my preferred place in Tokyo. My 4x here. Given the rate and accepting that the rate reflects the quality of the accommodations, not much I don't like. No mold in my room or bathroom unlike some others have mentioned. There's a fleece blanket under the comforter, has no cover, so, wondering if they actually wash them after each visitor stay. I always travel with a silk bed liner so, wasn't all that concerned, though, might be an issue for others.

The unique atmosphere, perfect location, friendly staff, value for money, efficient use of space.

Noise-proofing was non-existent, the fridge froze my boiled eggs, and the curtain was nastily discolored by some earlier accident. Could also have more places to hang stuff in the room.

    Location

It’s too small. Expensive for its size. Walls are thin, I can hear sounds coming from a different room.
