APA Hotel Higashi-Shinjuku Kabukicho Higashi

Good location just outside of the crazy centre of Shinjuku. Near several convenience stores and train stations. Super tiny room but it's expected in Tokyo!

Bed mattress is way too soft. I am a small person and I sunk into the bed. Internet is way too slow. It felt like back in the 90s - restart the system did not help.

Amazing hospitality, exceptional services and I think the price was pretty good. Definitely one of the best options one can have if you’re staying here for the weekend/a few days.

Rooms are a bit small, but that’s kinda the norm here. Not anything negative about this facility but just a heads up: there are other APA hotels around this area so make sure to not mix up the place you booked!

The frequency of changing the bed ans refill of toiletries

Heater in the room is not working, no washing machine inside the hotel. Needed to walk for 5 mins in order to reach the laundry shop.

Easy access to Shinjuku and it was clean with very helpful staff.

The room was for 2 people but there was 1 of everything in the room like toothbrush and razor, we did request another and got it easily.

We liked the cleanliness of the property, and we liked the location.

The room was quite small, it was hard to move around in.

The location is excellent, couple minutes from Higashi Shinjuku, and 10min from Shinjuku station. Staff are great, both at reception and cleaning.

Rooms are ok if you are traveling solo, but for 2 people will be a bit of a struggle. Only one elevator for 100+ rooms in 14 floors means that you will spend quite a bit of time waiting.

This hotel has a great location, just make sure you know which APA hotel you are staying in, as there are THREE on the same street only about 150meters apart. The bed is very comfortable and room amenities are very good. Clean and everything works well for water pressure, electricity and Video on Demand in the evening.

I didn't get their breakfast, but my traveling companions did and they said it was not very good. The coffee is made with a syrup and hot water...when these days there are automatic coffee machines. I recommend the Cafenard down the street for breakfast.

The beds are not for everyone, as a relatively large person, lots of ducking in the bathroom

Hallways were very hot (there is no AC), room are not cleaned on daily basis. The internet goes on-and-off in the mornings.
