- Only one person in reception spoke English and I experienced some difficulties to communicate with the rest of the team. They also provided unclear direction regarding how to ship your luggage, which created confusion and extra-stress. The person who spoke English was very helpful tho., I am very grateful for their help.

Great location. Nice suite and awesome to have a washer and dryer.
Property is a bit dated.
The room is clean and roomy. overall it is on the aged side but quality. The location is great but if you want to use the subway, you'll need to walk a while.
Everything was really good. I didn't like a little bit the distance to the subway.
Location is awesome with a ton of variety. Bars, dining, shopping, parks, & entertainment. Walk a block or two in any direction and you get a whole different experience.
The room was very comfotable and spacious making for a pleasant stay, staff were friendly and helpful in answering questions and queries. The fact there is a 7/11 located adjacent to the property is also very convenient for getting supplies.I loved the fact that there was an Origami crane and a small rubber duck waiting in the room on check in, that was a nice cute touch to welcome guests to the hotel. The hotel is also located close to Shinkjuku train station and lots of bars and restaurants are in the area
Shinjuku is a very lively location and unfortunately there was no sound insulation on the external windows meaning that sleep would be regularly distrupted during the night by the sounds of ambulances and nightlife outside. The bathroom was also somewhat cramped relative to the size of the rest of the room
Location and the staff were very professional and helpful.
Room was a bit stuffy.
The location is great, especially for party-goers and night owls.
It gets very noisy during the night. The room is relatively small, and the bathroom is ridiculously small and inconvenient.
Location and staff
later check in was an issue although the staff eventually were able to offer a solution
Location, all the little extras such as toiletries (not need to bring any with you), tea, remote to control lights and air conditioning. Staff were friendly and were very helpful.
Make sure to book a non-smoking room, if you do not smoke, otherwise it's a little unpleasant.
Staff spoke no English and were not helpful for example they knew nothing about luggage transfers
The staff were very friendly, even though most could only mostly speak Japanese. But it was easy to communicate any problems I had. The room may be small as expected but it was well equipped and comfortable enough for my stay.
It was unfortunate that my room's toilet seat malfunctioned. The spray stopped working and even after they did something to reset it, it happened again. It wasn't a really big deal, since I can wash myself in the bath.
Very spacious, sort of like an apartment airbnb. Toilet was separate from shower and multiple sinks. Staff was helpful. Good location.
Hotel doesn’t do luggage transfer, have to go to FamilyMart across the street. The staff was helpful though in filling out the form.
Room was great for solo traveler. For a couple it would be small.Very generous with toiletries.Front Desk were a great help and I liked all the free city maps & brochures and the location is just brilliant.I walked from Shinjuku Station, so it's doable and easy to find.Restaurants (also 24h) and cafes galore within the vicinity.
As I said, it was adequate for a solo traveler, but bathroom was tiny, also with a step to go in.When sitting on toilet, there wasn't much room, without knocking on something.
I stayed here previously with my family and we had returned as we enjoyed our previous stay.It is a large room, and for the price of 2 twin rooms we were able to get this room for 4 people. The location is good, and the convenience of a 7 eleven next door was great. The staff are very nice and the cleaners do a great job every day to keep the rooms fresh and clean. Our room had a washer and dryer which was convenient and which we used often to wash our kids clothes.3 separate bedrooms were great, although we only used 2, and the kitchen and living were spacious by Japanese hotel standards.Bathroom is large, and has a wash area and bath tub.
Although we have enjoyed our time here both times, the hotel interior is dated and could use an upgrade, but this is not entirely necessary. The fact that it is clean makes up for it being a little old.
great value for your money. Staff was very nice and helpful
it was a little noisy outside so it was hard to sleep. Room was small but ok for a solo traveler.
The highlights of the hotel were the service and value for money. The staff were very accommodating of our requests. They received our Ta-q-bin delivered luggage without issue and were ready for us by the time we arrived. They were also comfortable receiving Amazon orders for us and holding our luggage for the day before we departed for the airport. The cleaning, if not the entire, staff definitely have a fun-quirky side. When we checked in, there were little gift ducks and handwritten notes for us! Otherwise, everything else just worked - decent rooms, reliable appliances and room features, etc. We stayed in two single rooms, which were by far the cheapest in the area (most other hotels have expensive single rooms or require at least a double room). If you're looking for value above all else, this is the place to stay!
The hotel, particularly the rooms and lobby are a bit a dated. The mattress were a little firmer and springier than we would've liked, and the bathroom is pretty small, though sufficiently functional. The location puts the hotel at the edge of Kabukicho, which can good or bad. On one hand, its a little far from the stations and attractions - at least 10m walk each way, which can be exhausting if you're carrying luggage or Donki bags. On the other, it is quieter than some other hotels we've stayed at, and is significantly better valued.
The receptionists were so helpful and lovely and the location is great!
I didn’t know my booked room was a smoking room! They were helpful and put me in a non smoking room for one night and the other one I had the window open to try and make it less gross . So bizarre in 2024 for to have smoking rooms!
Centrally located hotels in Tokyo are generally eye-wateringly expensive . Paid £950 for two weeks in this small, single 2* room (Booking.com). Ouch! The hotel and my room were very clean. Fridge & kettle were provided; good A/C. There was a TV with mostly Japanese language programmes. The shower (attached to the half-sized bath) was basic, but was quite powerful. No in- room safe for valuables. The spaghetti-like ‘wiring’ was interesting to behold. It was very centrally located. I was on the 8th floor, which was peaceful in this very frenetic area. The young woman on reception was very kind and helpful on arrival; the two older men were also very nice and helpful. The guys spoke little English (though infinitely more than my Japanese), but this was no problem due to our liberal use of Google Translate. The room was (thoroughly) cleaned on request: I much prefer this arrangement because I find daily cleaning unnecessary & intrusive. This place reminded me of having to stay in my grandmother’s spare room: homely, but dated (the room, not my grandmother).
