    Pros +

    • The location is excellent. It was super clean, friendly and safe. The written information was in English so you could understand the rules and what was offered. They had larger pajamas at the front desk.
    • Good location and friendly staff
    • The location of the hostel was great because you’re really in the center of Tokyo . It’s quite easy to find and the procedure to enter is not complicated. The dorms were okay, enough place to sleep and you can charge your devices.Toilets products are provided so no need to bring it but no towel provided so be sure to have one or you’ll have to rent one.

    Cons -

    • The room was very hot, but they gave me a small plug-in fan that helped considerably. The mattress felt like a foam-covered board, but I slept for 9 hours, so it was apparently just fine.
    • Smelly, not clean, mold on the walls
    • Sometimes it wasn’t that clean but it mostly depends on the guest. Also on one of the two nights I was there a girl decided to rearrange her suitcase at like 1am for like 1 hour… and you can’t do anything about that just hope she’ll finish soon or pray to be with civilized people.

Super sound proof and comfortable pods, clean bathrooms, supplied with toiletries too. Hairdryer and straightener! Super nice host and good toilets

Beds got a little hot in the night but there is an air con machine outside so the curtains must be insulating !

in a very convenient area about 10 min walk from station. check in was also easy and convenient. you don’t have to worry about keys because of the face scan.

    it was pretty dirty

    Good location

Overall it was quite cramped, dirty and old (and expensive for what it offered, which wasn’t much)

    8EmilyPosted on: 9-28-2023

There was a bath! Bathroom area was generous, lots of toilets, not worrying about keys was easy

The mattress was very thin and after a couple of hours would make my limbs numb or hurt

Came here for a short stay for concerts in Tokyo & Saitama over the weekend. Location is located just 5 mins walk to Akihabara's station Hibiya line, and another 5 mins to the central entry for JY Yamanote line, routes to most places are easily accessible as well. Convenience store like Lawson (1 minute distance) & Daily Yamazaki (5 minutes distance) could be easily accessible as well. Luggage storage is sufficient if you're not bring multiples/large luggage. Apart of shared bathrooms & washrooms beinvg available with basics body wash & shampoo, hair dryer & straightener are also available for use. Lightning for the mirror is also a plus point. Total silence could not be expected for a shared hostel type of stay but still within acceptable range as everyone who stayed here are cooperative towards each other.perfect for one who's finding a budget accomodation for short travel , recommended as well for solo female travellers which you wouldn't have to worry staying in mixed dorm.

Good location in a quiet place, close to Akihabara.

Way to dirty, some papers in the bathroom were the same from a day to another. The entrance/kitchen is smelling so bad because of the shoes and lack of air.The system of auto check-in was not always working. The staff was making checkout beds before 9 in the morning... makes no sense

    7LillianPosted on: 9-14-2023

Quick, convenient and could get in and out with ease. Toiletries could be bought, hair driers and straighteners provided.

The initial set up for face recognition and the code were tricky. Definitely needs more space for luggage. It says they're not responsible for theft but there is no way people can really protect or put their stuff anywhere, if only you could slot your luggage below your bed. Luggage blocked the hallways. Also people were talking and shuffling their belongings around a lot, and definitely use those earplugs, some people slept through their alarms... but hey, for $25 AUD I was more than willing to stay another night! Thank you for saving my bank account during the last third of my trip.

    Passable

Do not stay here, it is small, no place for luggage, no staff, terrible explanations, late check in... the worst place I stayed in Japan

    9LecuyerPosted on: 8-24-2023

This place was perfect to spend two nights in Tokyo for a cheap price. The location is great, a few minutes away from the station by foot. It was comfortable and safe, and the staff was super nice. Would definitely stay there again.

It was in a good location and the hostel was clean and quiet.

Very surprisingly comfortable and met my needs. Not luxury but did the job. One shower had a small bathtub too though I was fine to let others have it. Lots of choices of shower gel, shampoos conditioners, face wash, lotions, etc. Lots of hairdryers. Lots of options for self-care. The capsule was large enough. Mine was bottom row so I could conveniently have my haversack outside to pack before flight. There's a luggage rack and a large enough locker with locks. Enough toilets, with HEATED TOILET SEAT. Really catered for ladies. The chocolate at pillow was a nice touch too.

I found the check in registration at the door a hassle but it worked after third round of registering... One error and you restart, holding up queue for anyone else wanting to enter, but realised the lady behind me was also just arriving. But once set up, thought it was truly nifty and convenient to exit and enter using facial recognition. Towels are charged. The shoes provided, all have to wear this brown plasticky shoes inside, was large and kept slipping off. And I do have large feet for a female. Felt very cooped up as no windows, at least on my side. Common area is small and comfy but not as many tables and no accessible electrical points. I needed a USB outlet. There's a vending machine to borrow a portable battery charger for 24hrs I think - but not worth the price as I wasn't going to be staying that long. The curtain also was a little flimsy and the borders let in light from the outside. So get an eye mask too.

Self check in, super comfortable.Location, within reach to several different train station.Elevator, very important especially with heavy luggage.

Drop in baggage. Japan is known for it's safety, but I'm not comfortable leaving my luggage in the hallway without any supervision from the staff. It would be better if we could leave our luggage in the common room. Other than that everything is perfect and i had a really nice stay.

It's very basic, see what you get, type of place. Think the idea is for a fast rotation of travellers, there is a little area to chill. It's close to JR station which makes it a good point to travel around Tokyo. The neighborhood has a vibe, there was a flea market on the weekend, but at night it becomes desolate. It was not a stay to enjoy - more to pass a night. The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate some of my needs - since there is a self check in, you can drop a bag in the hallway. I was adamant that I needed a locker and they agreed to let me in earlier. Later I had problems with the check in and they generated a code for me. One might say this is standard, but I would not take that type of flexibility and kindness for granted.

The cleaning is not done very thoroughly. As I came in earlier, I could see how the lady vacuums the floor. I wanted to grab the vacuum out of her hands as she left a bunch of dust and black hair near my bed. Overall, would give them 5 but one up for the staff.

A great and clean place. The bed was nice and comfy and the hostel has a lot of free stuff for women.
