Breakfast was delicious

The room smelled of smoke and woke up feeling unwell

The staff here are very friendly, and are extremely helpful in fulfilling my requests! The room is also clean!The hotel is near the station, if you exit from the South exit. It is also pretty affordable, considering Uguisudani is close to Ueno and Akihabara.

The room is extremely small, making it hard to put down any large luggage for packing, so I’ll only recommend this hotel for those solo travelers who are traveling light!

A fairly quiet hotel, simple and unpretentious.The location is very convenient for getting around Tokyo, as it’s very close to one of the most frequently used metro lines.

Staff Not so friendly

It’s central location, easy access to public transportation and restaurants was great. The staff having little to no English knowledge were still very helpful.The breakfast was quite good, felt healthy and delicious. It definitely has the feel of a home cooked meal.The rooms were very clean.

The rooms are cramped but that is typical of Tokyo.The washing machine was unfortunately not in operation while we were there.

Staff is excellent, kind and honest. I left property in the room accidentially after my stay and it was returned to me without issue. Very helpful even with us knowing very little Japanese, check out and in went very smooth.

The bed was a bit hard for my liking, and the room a bit small.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk of a very central station of the yamanote line. It's also a not so crowded station and it's pleasant to exit the train there. The place has several kombini and you will not miss anything. The room is very small but well maintained and somewhat new. The breakfast is good too.

The surroundings of the hotel are not so nice, especially in the evening/night, but you still feel safe since it's Japan. The room is super small for large luggages too.

I don't like the road from the station to the hotel because I have to carry my luggage down from the stairs and also when I went back to the station, I have to hold on.

Wasn't thinking much of the location beforehand but it was actually fantastic. There are many shops around, Asakusa within walking distance one way, Ueno the other.

The soundproofing to the hallway is abysmal, you will hear people coming and going. Didn't hear much from other rooms though, so that's fine.

The location was really near to the station, you can walk and reach. The breakfast provided was healthy and filling, the facilities were also good. It was a comfortable stay considering that the whole day we were out and came just to sleep.

The size of the room was considerably small compared to the picture of the room that I had booked, that's all

Friendly and accommodating staff, location was very convenient (close to the train station). Washing machine and dryer are a plus too.

Need to take stairs up/down from/to the station. Not sure if it is easier with you use the north exit. We chose the south exit

The location was excellent, only 5 min from the subway, lots of nice restaurants around and even a massage shop!

It lacks sound proofing, but nothing a couple of ear plugs cannot fix.

location is conveniently close to a station of the Yamanote line. Only one lift but very fast and efficient. Room too tight but everything worked well and the bed was reasonably comfortable.

bathroom big in comparison to the room that barely has space for you to move. some of the staff does not speak one word of English. I can understand having a limited command of English, especially during this times of staff shortage, but for a hotel in Tokyo, not speaking one word of English is not acceptable. Room is serviced only once or twice a week, but it's ok.

I like breakfast every morning. The staff are nice and friendly. They can help me a lot when I have questions about the location of tourist spots.

If the space is offered more, it will be much better.

we stayed 4 nights. had two double bed rooms for 2 adults and 2 kids. Room was clean amd functional. nice traditional breakfast. kind staff

beds were too soft and you could feel the springs. i would change the mattresses. room is really tiny and you need to be creative to store your baggage.
