Pros +
- English speaking staff, many amenities, clean pijamas
- Everything was excellent—from the clean and comfortable room to the very convenient location, which made getting around the city easy. The breakfast was satisfying and well-prepared, a great way to start each day. The staff were consistently friendly, courteous, and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcome. Most importantly, my family and I felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Super Hotel Akihabara to other travelers.
- Great location, close to train station and JR. You can walk to Uneo Station to take the skyliner to Narita airport. Average room size in Tokyo. The room needs code to access which you don't need to worry about the key card. Real size of double bed( rare to see in budget hotel in JP) and unique pillow. Ok breakfast with bonus for free alcohol at night.
Cons -
- The hotel provides an additional pillow option in the lobby. This is not optional, because the pillow provided in the room was absolutely the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. The default pillow in the room is made from beads with what feels like pre-determined indentations for the head.Room and bathroom very tight, but clean. I was unable to open up my suitcase all the way, so I had to get creative.
- Breakfast selections are not many. Location has some distance from metro station.
- - onsen hours for females could be longer

Location is just outside the hustle and bustle of Akihabara so it's fairly quiet, but still within walking distance. Free breakfast was a surprise, and the menu changed every day. Hotel was able to receive my luggage shipped from a prior hotel. Staff seemed to speak pretty fluent English. Location is quiet at night, and while you can technically hear (or feel?) other room doors opening, didn't really feel disruptive to me.

Great location. Staff were very helpful. Good breakfast.
Hotel offers free soft drink from 15:00 and alcohol in evening. For breakfast, guest can choose to eat in restaurant area or take away. Hotel area is quiet. It is in walking distance (about 15 mins) to reach Ueno Ameyoko Shopping Street.
Breakfast selections are not many. Location has some distance from metro station.
- breakfast buffet was good, menu changes every day- has complete amenities like pillows, pajamas, toiletries, etc- in house onsen- staff is friendly and accommodating- key-less door is very convenient, no need to fuss with keys- good soundproofing- excellent air-conditioning unit- location is near the main attractions in akihabara but is in a quiet street
- onsen hours for females could be longer
Great location, great service. Decent rooms with a view. Tattoo friendly Onsen.
Bed came with a single long pillow for couple to share. Alternative pillows were available in the reception area, but by 8pm these were all used up with no options. This is bizarre.. give people a pillow each to sleep on!?
Clean, accessible, good location, quiet. Good breakfast with different options every day.
Very small room, even smaller bathroom. Barely enough room for our 2 carry on backpacks, we couldn't pass each other in the room. The bed was up against the corner, so you have to go over the other person to exit the bed.
Good location, was spacious and clean. Also they have storage on the first floor for your luggage, there's an underground walkway to the nearest station
The location was far from attractions, it's really quite during the evenings.
Great location!
There was a musty smell in our room near the window, I’m guessing a window leak. The mattress bothered our backs a bit.
They room boasted about the environment and being environmentally friendly, the breakfast food was delicious and the staff were super helpful and friendly.
It was quite small, the pillow was interesting but not uncomfortable but we mightve just been jetlagged (there are pillows in the lobby you can grab). The bathroom roof was quite low so it made my tall partner (6ft5in) a bit uncomfortable when using the bathroom, as his head touched the roof when he stood straight.
The breakfast spread was good. Hotel room was small but this is expected in Tokyo. Room comes with digital lock which is good as we don't need to carry physical keys around.
Great location, loved the onsen, breakfast was good. They have fitted amazingly much in small space!
The room was tiny, but that may be normal in Tokyo.
Personnel, the welcome bar, breakfast, cleanliness, peaceful, quiet
Bean pillows
Room as usual are very tiny but clean, location is perfect nearby train station and several markets. Breakfast was not bad at least can select food you like most and eat as much you want. People are very friendly and supportive.
room too small. Apart of this all other were satisfactory.
Close to heart of Akihabara, 7-Eleven and transportation
Room was chilly and a little too small for two people
Great location, good breakfast, affordable, friendly staff.
The hard pillow was uncomfortable and the washlet wasn’t installed properly.
Nice hotel located between Akihabara and Ueno; room is kit-size yet still good for budget stay; good staff served genuinely; simple buffet breakfast for fast start of a day.
Nothing special
Modern room, clean, roomy, breakfast buffet is quite good, happy hour in the afternoon, location is about a mile away from the town center or a few bus stops. The train station is about same.
