    Pros +

    • I enjoyed the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff.
    • The staff was super friendly! The room was really small but the bed was comfortable, everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. The location is really great! A lot of restaurants & bars close by and the subway/train station was also close. We would definitely stay here again.
    • Included ‘happy hour’! Wow! Best EVER of any stay worldwide due to variety of choices. Courtesy, from time of check-in to several hours AFTER we had checked out (allowed us to sit in the restaurant area and use our Internet). People at the front desk were very accommodating. Pillow was best in 12 nites. Breakfast was delightfully full of choices. Very close to station/restaurants. Quiet stay.

    Cons -

    • Was not crazy about the breakfast.

    • Had to be one of the 5 SMALLEST hotel room/ bathroom combos in 1000’s we’ve booked over 36 years of marriage! Overlooked this as there were enough “positives” to offset (& it is Japan).1 elevator

Everything except bed comfort. Location, staff, breakfast, free soft drinks at 3p and mixed drinks after 6p.

Upper bed on bunk waaaaaay to firm. Needed to use extra bed topping as mattress pad.

Great location. Yes, the rooms are small, but that's just it in Tokyo. We stayed for one week and we managed. We had one big suitcase and one big backpack. We managed to fit both in the room and access our things. With two suitcases, it would have been too tight.Breakfast was good, not too many things but enough to make it for one week. They also had a selection of free drinks in the evening. Check-out is simple: you just throw the paper with the code to your room into the box in the elevator, and that's it.

Location and price were great. Breakfast was awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Only gripe I would have is that the pillow was slightly uncomfortable. But this still was not an issue. I liked that the Kyoto Superhotel options for pillows, depending on preference.

Good tv. Very good washer and dryer. Good buffet breakfast. I liked that I could choose my own pillow in the lobby. The staff allowed me to store baggage before and after check in, which was very convenient. The hotel is also close to Konbinis.

The bed was a bit firm.

The location was right next to Ginza (shopping) and the imperial palace (to run in the beautiful park), staff were friendly and nice.

Restaurants and shopping nearby but the area was a bit outside of the main are and not too clean (the streets) and the vibe didn’t feel great. For the cost, I would definitely book elsewhere next time. The hotel itself was dated and not super clean. The breakfast wasn’t great. More healthy options would be great. There was no fresh fruit which surprised me.

I think this is the perfect utilitarian hotel. There were many things for travelers to feel comfortable that other hotels on our trip did not have; a multi-charging cable for different types of phones; a selection of additional pillows to choose from in the lobby; a great (and free) utilitarian breakfast buffet; a great selection of different bathroom amenities (lotion, cleansers, toothbrush, etc.). The bed was comfortable, the AC worked great, and it was and extra unplanned cool thing to have a view of Tokyo Tower from our room on the 10th floor. We were here 1 night in between traveling from Osaka to checking into our other Tokyo hotel and I booked it because it was a good value close to a great neighborhood (Ginza). I was very pleased with this stay.

Loved that they had breakfast included, also loved that they had a lot of drink options to choose from for buffet style breakfast. Room was compact but worked and bed was really comfortable. Great value for what it was

The rooms are a bit small but to be expected in Tokyo

    The staff was nice.

Probably the worst hotel experience I've had so far. When we first checked in, the room was shockingly dirty—hair on the bed, dirt in the bathroom, a strong unpleasant smell (possible canalization issues) and the AC and parts of the bathroom were covered in mold. We immediately informed the reception, and to their credit, they were polite and offered to move us to another room. However, we had to wait about 40 minutes for the change. At first glance, the second room seemed better, so we left without inspecting it too closely. Unfortunately, once we returned, we realized it wasn’t much better. While the smell was gone and the bed was cleaner, there was still hair around the room, the floors were visibly dirty and hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time, with spots and grime everywhere. The most concerning issue was the extreme humidity. Every morning, the curtains were soaked with condensation, our suitcase was covered in water droplets, and we had to use a hairdryer daily just to get our clothes dry. Even clothes and towels that were dry the night before would be wet by morning. On top of that, the room was freezing cold. The windows were poorly sealed—you could feel the draft coming through. We tried blocking the cold air with a pillow, only to find it turned black from the filth on the window. Clearly, it hadn’t been cleaned in ages.To make matters worse, the room was incredibly small. There wasn’t enough space to open a standard-sized suitcase without blocking walkways. We expected it to be small as this is common for Japan, but not this tiny. The only positive aspect was the staff—they were friendly and tried to help—but unfortunately, the issues were beyond their control and ultimately unresolved.I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Small & neat. Breakfast was a bit chaotic as there wasn't enough seating for everyone. Breakfast was limited.loved the "women only" little treat.

Staff was friendly and always willing to help. They helped us shipping and translate to Japanese the form for the luggage which I really appreciate. Breakfast was awesome. Rooms are small but most of the hotel have the same size for the rooms which it didn’t bother us. Definitely, I recommend this hotel.

Very nice position and very clean room. Nice breakfast, but I would add some international option.

The flexibility of the staff is fundamental for this kind of business hotel and this really did not satisfy me. I understand that the check-in is at 3:00pm, but if I arrive at 2:30 and asked for one room, whatever room, to get changed for an event... I expect to get the room. They told me that every single room of the hotel was undergoing at the very same time the cleaning, so they could not give me any room: this is not true and I don't like to be fool around.

    8AndreaPosted on: 3-29-2025

The breakfast was really tasty and had a lot of options! (e.g., baked goods, salmon, rice, miso soup, many other things). The location was very convenient (5 min walk to Shimbashi station) and there are several restaurants in the neighborhood. I was able to store my luggage before check-in, which was convenient. They also had different pillow options you could choose from at the front desk.

The room was very small for 2 people, which was to be expected for Tokyo. Tokyo is expensive, so $150 USD per night isn't unreasonable, but seemed a little high for the size of room. My friend (a solo traveler) found a room at unito shiodome across the street that was only $90 a night for a full size bed and a room bigger than our room, but unfortunately that hotel only accepted solo travelers.

    Simple, clean, great breakfast

The room is just a bed and a desk really but it’s all that we needed

    9JosequiroscrPosted on: 3-4-2025

I like the reception staff and the cleaning guys. They were always with a smile in their face

Food staff were not so friendly. Every time I asked for bread they told me today is over. Tomorrow you have bread. Not so cool.

    8Ann-mariPosted on: 3-3-2025

Very well planned space with everything we needed in the room. It was very nice with the little space next to the reception desk where breakfast was served, and where drinks were available in the evening. Staff was super friendly. Perfect location for our departure the next day from the Hamamasutcho station (sorry if I misspelled) which was within walking distance- took us about 15 minutes to walk. There are also nice areas around the hotel with lots of restaurants and the nice park around Tokyo tower.

There is nothing I didn’t like. But the double bed was probably as small as 140 cm which is good to know. It didn’t bother us though!
