Hotel Allamanda Aoyama Tokyo

It was excellent in every way.

We arrived from Autralia. When we got to the address at 5.30am the door was locked and we had to pull our suitcases to the other side with steep driveway. someone came to pull my suitcase to the hotel entrance.

Great pajamas. Bathroom with a tub and a shower.

Dirty walls in the room, stained carpet, old/broken shower head, mildew smell in the restroom

The hotel room was large and very nice. It was located just a few steps from the metro. I have tattoos and that was a problem in the fitness center. If you have one you’ll need to cover it. The breakfast was very exceptional!

It was a bit stuffy and conservative. The rooms were stately, more for older people. Design was old fashioned.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, with the spa team providing particularly outstanding service. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and designed for maximum comfort. The hotel itself offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation.

I felt that having to pay for additional extras was disappointing, especially considering the premium price of staying even if just in a 'Classic' room. It would have been nice if more amenities were included to enhance the overall value of the experience.

Very large room - staff were very helpful and friendly. Condition of room was slightly tired and traditional style decor. Size of room did compensate ( much bigger than any other room we had whilst in Japan) and luxury brand toiletries available. First class location in very pleasant area and right next to train station and walking distance to main attractions.We used the swimming pool but note that there is a charge. It is a great lap pool and unusual to find in Tokyo so we definitely valued this facility.

breakfast was Ok but rather limited a la carte choice- not a buffet.

A small point- the hotel dossnt offer guests a morning newspaper, which is unusual for 5*

Spacious room with modern facilities.

No 24 hour room service, limited eating options in house - two entrances which can be confusing for uber and taxi drivers

The property was exceptional! Very convenient, super close to the Gaiemmae subway station.

I liked everything, the only thing that I didn’t like as much was the room service options. They only had 4 options and some of them weren’t that good.

Staff were helpful and welcoming, the location near a Metro station and near to some major sights / shopping streets was pleasing.Room was well equipped, very clean. The tempura restaurant downstairs was excellent.

The upstairs restaurant is somewhat old fashioned and lifeless. We went for a drink one night and were the only people there. Breakfast presented little selection and odd combinations/ offerings that we did not finish. Updating and livening up required. All staff were lovely.

Rooms are surprisingly spacious. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous, especially the restaurant staff who were very accommodating to our requests. The close proximity to the Gaiemmae Station is very convenient for transportation.

The stay was absolutely amazing! The location was fantastic, making it easy to get around. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The room was very spacious, with an incredible shower that stood out as a highlight. The onsen, sauna, and gym facilities were also excellent, providing a perfect balance of relaxation and fitness.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike. Everything exceeded expectations!

Good central location

Had to pay additional for the pool, staff was not very flexible, no buffet breakfast. Can only choose between 3 breakfast options.

The location of the hotel is right by the Gaiemmae train station along the Ginza Line which made getting around Tokyo extremely convenient. It was also a pleasant walk to Omotesando, whilst exploring the many different shops along the way. The surrounding area also has decent food options and loads of combinis!

There wasn't much to dislike about the hotel to be honest. If anything, the decor for the hotel may come across to some as rather old-school - wood paneled desks and chairs, dark wood cabinet console that had wing panels, and no smart TV.

We got breakfast included which I would't do again. It was not that great but other than that the hotel was exceptional. The location was great on the Ginza line and was next door to the hotel. The staff were fantastic and the room was amazing very large and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The only thing we didnt like was the breakfast it wasnt that great. The staff at breakfast were fantastic its just the food choice was strange.

The property was very nice- clean, and updated rooms. The train station is just around the corner. The breakfast was amazing- fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, an assortment of delicious fruits, a soup of the day and your choice of a main dish. They also have rice porridge with various toppings available.

The room is spacious, absolutely perfect for a family of three. Our room is on the 1st floor, but it's really quiet. The hotel location is also good, five minutes walk from the metro, and there's a Family Mart nearby.

The breakfast is delicious, but there are only three options available: Benedict egg, Croque Madame, and hot dog. And the breakfast manu is fixed.
