    Pros +

    • The staff was very helpful and the location is great. The room was quiet and clean, and although there is only the one escalator, there is an elevator that you can take to the ground floor. There is also a coin laundry nearby.
    • Very close to the Ikebukuro Subway Station.
    • Friendly staff EXCEPT the lady who checked me in. I wanted to add an extra night of stay, but she said they are sold out. I had looked on Booking.com minutes before my arrival and rooms are available. I prefer to book directly with the hotel always. Schedule changed, and I decided to add another night of stay. I booked the extra night on booking.com

    Cons -

    • The only thing we would have changed is the bathroom size. The shower was so small there was barely room to turn around, but at least it was clean and had great water pressure.
    • Outdated. But it was good for what we paid.
    • It is dated but just a short walk to eating/shopping areas and Ikebukuro Station.

Location, convenience store right next door, delicious ichiran ramen next door as well. Also very close to station and shopping centre of Ikebukuro!

The only thing is the laundry which seemed quite expensive. There seems to be a coin laundrymat nearby but we didn't want to do the hassle of bringing and picking up.

    The soft, cozy bed!

The bathtub and toilet needed to be cleaned better, and there wasn't a very large variety of breakfast foods or flavors for foreigners.

The accommodation is very close to the train station, restaurants and shops.

The room is very small so If you have a lot of luggage, there may not be a lot of space to move around.

Clean and that AC can blow COLD when you want it to! Also, family mart is literally downstairs along with an ATM. Staff is super friendly and helped me transfer my bags to Osaka!

    Nothing, it was great.

    10KatherinePosted on: 6-4-2025

Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. It is so close to the Ikebukero subway stop which made getting around very easy. There is a 24 hour Ichiran tonkatsu ramen place right in the hotel which we ate at more days than not. Great value for the price.

The mattresses are rather hard for my preference but it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again.

All locations, including the subway station, restaurants, convenience stores, and retail shops, are closed. It’s a good deal for a triple room.

The hotel is very close to the Ikebukuro JR station and right next to Ichiran - ramen shop.

You can hear the trains all day because it is literally next to the JR train lines but the noise is acceptable.

Repeat stay at this property. Good value, great location, comfortable rooms. Accessible to all parts of Tokyo.

Lighting in the bathroom a bit dim. Bathroom is small.

The breakfast is nice, the staff are friendly and the room is clean.

    Nothing I didn’t like.

    Location.

Room too small, no space to put our luggages.Bes and pillows not firm, hardly to move around in this extreme tiny room.Different from what we see from the photos when doing booking, very disappointed ?

In front of the station, really good placement Comfy and staff answer all the question Just the bathroom are small but nothing that is not unbearable

We didn't book for BF. The location is superb. You can find everything around here ex: Ichirun located on the 1st floor of the building, PARCO, hypermarket, Big camera, Daiso, Donki, UNIQLO, etc.

    May be the staff

Very professional staff and housekeeping was excellent. Extremely tidy rooms and very well informed staff.

    I liked everything.

    10RshannonPosted on: 12-30-2024

The location is fantastic being steps away from Ikebukuro station which links you to almost everywhere. The direct bus to Mt Fuji area and Fuji Q Highland also has a bus stop within walking distance. There are also a lot of halal food options in the surrounding area. No shortage of shopping choices either. Rooms are spacious for Japan although the bathroom is a bit on the smaller side. My family had the superior twins and single rooms and they were more than adequate. It has individual aircon/heating controls which I liked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Communication in English was also not a problem. Bags can be kept with them if it isn't check-in time yet. There is only one escalator which changes direction depending on the time of day. However this isn't an issue if you have luggage or mobility impairments as there is also an elevator from the ground floor to the second floor where the reception lobby is. The Family Mart at the ground floor is also convenient. Overall a better than expected stay.

Would prefer a Japanese wet bathroom than a bathtub which is difficult for the elderly to get in and out of.

Location is great. Staff helpful. Luggage storing is good

The room is a bit tight for 4 ppl. But ok for one night stay

    9PhirayaPosted on: 12-19-2024

It is very near Ikebukuro station, very easy to access JR and subway, near big shopping department store and drug store. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Bed is comfort. Our room is quite spacious.

Room is a bit old same as exterior building but it was find, no problem during our stay.

Convenience location next to Ikeburoko JRThere is a quadruple bedroom available so it is great for a family of four.F&B and 7-11 are abundant around the vicinity

The room need overhaul cleaning from time to time, I assume the daily house keeping is done at bare minimum as I drawn the curtain, thick specks of dust landed on my bed and visible dust can be seen on wall. The Family mart located at the ground level of the hotel is closed till Feb'25.
