Shinagawa Tobu Hotel

Loved everything about this hotel, especially the breakfast, staff, laundry facility and guest lounge!!!!

The only thing was that it was near a train station (but uphill) and a 711

the conditions of the hotel were completely unacceptable and nowhere near what was advertised.From the moment we arrived, we noticed significant mold throughout the property, including visible mold in the lobby and inside the AC vents. The vents were also packed with dust, and the AC itself didn’t function properly. We couldn’t tell whether it was blowing heat or actual air, and the room temperature was uncomfortable the entire time.The room conditions were just as disappointing. The walls were so thin that we could hear everything happening in the hallway, and the toilet barely worked. Overall, the stay was extremely uncomfortable and far below any reasonable standard.To make the situation worse, we couldn’t find another hotel within our budget on such short notice, which meant we were forced to stay despite the conditions. This was not by choice - there simply were no alternatives available at that time.This property is listed as a 3-star hotel, but compared to another 3-star hotel we stayed at earlier in a different city, this was not even remotely comparable. In its current condition, it should not be rated 3 stars; honestly, it should not even be listed as an option on booking websites.

Clean and comfy.Easy to get to Haneda airport just 30 mins.

Room temperature cant adjust,too warm inside the room someday.Uphill with luggage was too tired.Just 7-11 opposite but small.

Clean and safe hotel with friendly staff. Although an uphill walk from Shinagawa station, it was still a close and easy walk.

Travelled with my family. The staff were super friendly, facilities very convenient, it was clean and very comfortable. The location is superb. Great value for the price.

Being only a few minutes walk from the Sinagawa station and surrounded my malls and restaurants places this hotel in comfortable location. The room and the hotel, in general, is very well equipped and clean. The staff always had a smiling face to attend to you.They lent umbrellas to customers on rainy days. Check in and checkout procedures were very smooth.

-Location is in peaceful area, but it’s not too far from both JR and subway station. -Fuji mountain view is seen in a bright day-Washing machine is a plus

-Location is up the hill, walk with heavy luggage is a bit of challenge.

Close to Shinagawa station which has a direct access to Haneda Airport and key tourist locations in Tokyo

The hotel is conveniently located between Shinagawa (Keikyu line from Haneda plus JR lines) and Takanawadai (Asakusa line) stations - although the walk up the hill from Shinagawa Station can be too much for some. The staff have always been welcoming, professional and helpful.

Not a negative for myself, but western travelers might find the rooms to be cramped by comparison to US hotels. And there is only a rod extending from the wall to hang clothes from; no dresser.Electrical outlets with USB ports would be convenient.

The breakfast which starts at 7:00 am. It is better if serving of breakfast starts at 6:30 am so you have time to eat if you have a tour to catch.
