Pros +
- Clean room, nice location, very nice staff.
- I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—conveniently situated close to major attractions, restaurants, and transport, yet peaceful and relaxing.
- Good for the price. Rooms have plenty of space.
Cons -
- Terrible facilities. Furniture was old and broken. Mold in the showers. Ants in my other room but service was really good and was able to get a room change. However new room also wasn’t much better.
- Have to leave room key at the Reception everytime we leave the hotel. Room is cleaned everyday but needs more improvement in cleaning.
- Not very clean, especially the air grille.

Not very clean, especially the air grille.
English speaking staff, they even let me try to speak Japanese to themIt's listed as non smoking, but it's definitely has people smoking in it, you even get an ashtray so ??♂️ a plus if you smoke I guess, if not maybe don't try it Was a good stay
Bed is very very very hard, not just firm
Spacious room. Bigger than I expected.
It is an old hotel. The smell of smoke is very noticeable. But
Good location, only 10 minutes from Shinjuku station. Compare for the room rate and location is valued for money.
Smoking smell may disturb someone who sensitive.
Decent room. Smoking smell throughout. You pay for the location.
The location is great, the staff is kind. It is a bit old so it doesn’t seem as hygienic but the stay was fine.
Bit old and not the cleanest. But you get what you pay for.
Near to Shinjuku station, located in nightlife district, so if you want to explore nightlife, the hotel will suit you.
Colorful hotel, maybe its just preference from me. But its ok for short stay.
The hotel is very accessible and just walking distance to the nearest subway station. It is also very convenient to go to nearby restaurants and bars.
The smell of cigarettes along the hallway :(
Great lively location, nice stuff behind the desk.
Some parts of room seems to be not so clean, like under of beds and so on.
Friendly and informative staff, helped when needing to find the location of a laundromat nearby. One of the few places in the area that didn't look or feel like a love hotel, so was nice to not get that vibe
I'd heard how Shinjuku can be, but it a little eye opening to see some things first hand.Regardless, the only thin I was skeptical about was having to hand my room key back each time I left, but I assume it's to prevent loss of keys by intoxicated patrons.
Cleanliness ok
Bed was weaken springs, uneven surfaces to sleep, room lighting are overred dim, when going out from hotel, room keys need to leave at counter, feel unsafe on this
The staff was very kind, and helpful. It was easy to check in and out. The location was great! The room was very spacious, and the water pressure on the shower was nice.
When we came at first we considered booking a different hotel, because the room smelled so bad and was very dirty, with black mold on many of the fixtures. We were both coughing all night from the smell of stale cigarettes, and we did not want to come back after the day out. But we let the staff know about the issues, and they cleaned it up while we were gone, so it was much more bearable when we came back. It was not my favourite hotel, but it was very convenient and the staff were nice.
Location was good. Price was great. Room size and Cleaning was decent (not bad).
It was just small. I think its a general thing in Japan so no problem for us.
Great location, rooms were good size and quiet.
Everything. Quiet, easy, biggest room in all of Japan I’ve had. Loved it, friendly staff and 24 hour front desk
Location was central, staff friendly with 24 hour front desk. Very easy and kind
We checked in at midnight and the staff and we were able to check in quickly with no hassle. Staff are friendly and available 24/7. They cleant the room everyday.
The room is exceptionally small.
