Pros +
- Clean and quiet. Cocktail bar. Also breakfast is not big choice but good quality.
- The highlights were the friendly and professional staff, the delicious breakfast with a variety of dishes, the aesthetically pleasing reception and dining areas, and the unexpected complimentary extras. The hotel is located away from the busy touristic areas of the city center, but very close to train and subway stations for access to points of interest.
- We liked the public bath, also that we got clean towels even if we didn’t ask for the cleaning.Very unique that you could choose your own pillow based on your preferences.Nice Japanese breakfast.
Cons -
- Small bathroom but is a standard in Japan
- Some of the areas of the hotel are very nice, and the room and the common spaces looked like they were cleaned as one would expect, but other aspects of the facilities need some attention. The carpets in the common areas as well as the room were very stained and worn, and some of the walls were also stained and scuffed. There was an unpleasant odor in the room, probably related to these issues, but fortunately there was an air purifier which helped. Addressing these issues would greatly improve the look and feel of the hotel, to match the high quality of other aspects.

Staff, location
Room was a bit cramped
The place is clean and well-maintained, with complimentary drinks and amenities adding to the experience. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic!
The room is slightly compact.
Nice hotel in a quiet and pleasant neighbourhood, had a great wellness focus?
Didn't enjoy the standard straw pillows, was lucky to get another more standard pillow, seemed others agreed as I took the last one!
The sento, the breakfast, the organic products.
The size of the room and bathroom
The staff are very polite and accommodating. Food served is so tasty and fresh. Rooms and common areas are very clean. The location is close to the train station which is convenient.
Room is small, we could hardly open our luggages.
Hotel is in a lovely area, staff are very friendly, beakfast tasty. There are onsens and all facilities that you can need. Keep it in mind, if you have a tattoo then onsen for you is prohibited, but you can take sample of bath treatment from the receptionist and use bath in your room.

Was overall very good regarding the room
Staff spoke very poor English and weren’t the nicest. We arrived early for check but had to wait until 15:00 on the dot to check in. There were pillows in the lobby for selection but when we came back there where no more pillows and after asking the reception they said there are no more. We had to check out early and they couldn’t accommodate anything for us for breakfast.
Free breakfast, plenty of pillow types, good sized room for Tokyo, close to the airport and Shinkansen
Breakfast and welcoming
The little noise of the ventilation
Have Onsen and Breakfast is amazing
Room is a little bit small and that’s not worth with price
Had a hot tub which was nice. Person at the reception was polite. Hotel was clean.
Staff in the restaurant was rude. Room and bathroom were tiny. Pillow was very uncomfortable.
I don't recommend Super Hotel Shinagawa Aomonoyokocho. If you have ever been to Japan, you probably noticed that the standard of hotels in Japan is higher than other countries at the same rate and prices. So I don't compare Super hotel with other hotels that I have been in the other countries. However, in Japan, my husband and I stayed in several hotels (two hotels in Tokyo, one in Kyoto, one in Osaka, one in Nagoya and one in Kawaguchiko. I compare super hotel with the other hotels at the same range of price and rates we stayed in Japan. The room was very small the same as other hotels, however in the other hotels the doors and the spaces were designed in a way that you have enough space for a 23kg luggage. But here in our room at super hotel, we put our luggage behind the room door, where the room door or the bathroom door hit the luggage every single time we open the door. In terms of bed, the pillow and the comforter was not good at all. There was no duvet for the comforter. They just put a sheet under the comforter. The bed was not comfortable (worth to mention that they put some pillows with sheets at the lobby in case you don't like your pillow). There was no ventilation system in the hallways and the elevator. It was very hot and hard to breath when you were out of your room. They has only one elevator which stops at every floor and it was always full. The breakfast was good, however if you arrive later 8:30 am everything was gone and they wouldn't charge anything. Overall, we didn't have a good experience at super hotel.
The bed was very comfy. Amazing staff. Good breakfast and nice bathroom.
Train station was not too close..
the food and the toiletries
location, it is 10-15 mins walk to the shinagawa station
