    Pros +

    • The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. When requesting extra blankets or towels, it was provided right away.
    • The location and close proximity to Tokyo Station. The layout of the rooms and balcony.
    • Very spacious room by Tokyo standards, with a nice balcony.

    Cons -

    • The JR line it is nearby is somewhat inconvenient and the neighborhood it is in is very office heavy, so there is little to do after 5pm without having to go elsewhere.
    • The AC was not working as expected. Even when we switched the modes or fan speed, it would not take effect or would change after a long time. On the last day we ended up sleeping without the AC since it was not that cold and we were really tired to try the AC settings again.
    • Room was a bit old and not clean. Cleaning staff also forgot used towel inn our room when we checked in.There were dark spots in Air purifier's water tank.

The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful.Having personal washing machine dryer was a big help.

The staff were very nice and accommodating! My room felt more spacious than what I was expecting, so that’s a plus. I also liked that the hotel is conveniently located to the train stations, but in a quieter place.

It wasn’t as pronounced until the evening after I took a shower, but it seems like the vent in the bathroom wasn’t working too well so it kind of smelled like mildew after. It did get better after I opened the door for a little bit

Usually, all the hotels in Japan have friendly staff, but these guys are exceptional! From the excellent English (which is not very common) to the smallest details, the staff is always happy to help, and you feel super welcomed. The check-in process is super smooth and fast. The location is amazing, not only is it close to the metro station, but it's also very central. I stayed in different neighbourhoods of Tokyo, and this is the best one location-wise wise especially for tourists.

    Loved having the washing/drying machine.

Breakfast is just a soupe and two pieces of pastries from a fidge… Should be offered as ‘snack included’, not breakfast.

Lots of restaurants nearby. Quieter part of the city. Washer/dryer in room.

No restaurant. They charge for extra towels and cleaning only once a week unless you order cleaning service then it’s charged.

The staff here are very nice. I had some last minute issues occur like adding a guest to my reservation and the laundry machine in my room not working and the staff were very responsive and accommodating.

Location was great in an area that is clean and quiet. Close to the metro to get to other areas of Tokyo. Some unique restaurants nearby that we really enjoyed. Hotel and room very clean. Room was decent size for two people. Lobby had a nice waiting/working area. It was great that coffee, tea and hot and filtered water was available in the lobby anytime. Umbrellas available for use by the entrance. Hotel staff were friendly and provided good service. Would stay again.

    Everything was good.

I love how quiet this area was. Staff was very help and I would definitely come back to this area again.

Nothing comes to mind thar was negative. Area felt safe and calm.

Room was compact and had great amenities. Location was near eateries and other conveniences. Also was near the train station.

    8MalgorzataPosted on: 11-3-2025

Location was good, hot water downstairs at the lobby. It is nice that hotel send a postcards for you.

Lack of hot water /kettle in the room. I am not a fun of synthetic duvet.

    7nissimPosted on: 10-29-2025

Friendly staff the room has everything you need including the washing machine that was very helpful and comfortable

A bit far from center areas, was less comfortable for touristic city experiences where you want everything closer, but not so bad..

    9TessaPosted on: 10-26-2025

The room was quite spacious and clean. Staff at check in were very helpful. The location was within easy walking distance of train stations, bug not too many restaurants close by.

    10EslamPosted on: 10-22-2025

Very convenient location! Very close to Tokyo Station, Clean quiet business area and close to train and subway, Hotel is mainly businessmen hotel but still we enjoyed our stay, stuff are super polite and helpful

We booked a double room with washing machine, a bit small for a couple but doable for short stays with no much luggage, with washing machine, proper bathroom and microwave was pretty ok

    10KatiaPosted on: 10-22-2025

The place is nice, really helpful the staff, amenities (toothbrush, racer, coffee, te, water, etc) it’s near a combini and 2 metro station are less than 5 min

The location is not in the more tourist area, but the metro is one stop from them

    7ArryonPosted on: 10-21-2025

Nice location next to central hubs such as Kanda station, ideal starting location while not being too busy area

The level of cleanness was not fully what I expected. The room is a bit old which is fine, but the bathroom wasn’t giving off very clean vibes: there were black hairs stuck to various places when we got there, and the shower sink was already becoming clogged after a few showers, which makes me suspect it might not have been cleaned for a while.

Tokyu Stay Nihombashi pleasantly surprised me with its comfort and convenience during my Tokyo visit. The location is ideal—within walking distance of landmarks like Koami Shrine and close to public transit, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel was spotless, and the in-room washer and kitchenette added great flexibility and a sense of home. The 24-hour front desk staff were consistently courteous and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was a great way to start each day. The fast Wi-Fi was also perfect for getting work done. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to both business and leisure travelers seeking a clean, comfortable, and well-located base in central Tokyo.

While I genuinely enjoyed my stay at Tokyu Stay Nihombashi, there were a few aspects that could be improved to make the experience even better.First, the room size was on the smaller side, which is fairly typical for Tokyo but still a bit challenging when unpacking multiple suitcases or trying to dry laundry from the in-room washer. The compact layout made it difficult to move around freely once personal belongings were spread out.Second, sound insulation could be better. Although the neighborhood itself is relatively calm, I occasionally heard hallway noise, door sounds, and faint traffic from the street, especially late at night. Light sleepers might want to pack earplugs.Third, the breakfast buffet, while convenient and tasty, became repetitive after several mornings. A little more rotation or variety—such as fresh fruit options, different hot dishes, or regional specialties—would make a big difference for longer stays.Additionally, the lighting inside the room was somewhat dim, which made reading or working in the evenings less comfortable. A brighter desk lamp or adjustable lighting would improve functionality for guests who use the room as a workspace. Finally, while the kitchenette was a fantastic feature, it lacked a few basic cooking essentials like a small cutting board, salt and pepper, or additional utensils. These small touches could make the “home away from home” experience even more complete.Overall, these are relatively minor observations, but addressing them would take an already convenient, comfortable hotel and make it even better for both short- and long-term travelers.
