Tokyu Stay Monzen-Nakacho Tokyo

Loved having the convenience of a washer/dryer in our room.

Although our room was small, we could have used a small table in our room for eating breakfast.

Quiet area, close to station, close to convenient store, and has washer/dryer combined that actually works very well.

Can be loud in the morning when the other rooms are being cleaned. A lot of old stains on the carpet inside the room.

It is located near the subway and bus stop. It is close to shopping, restaurants, and historical temple/ shrine. All rooms are equipped with own laundry, most rooms have small kitchen. Those are very valuable for long stays. Hotel staff is always helpful. Definitely my favorite place to stay

Spacious room by Japanese standards. Excellent location - very close to the subway station and very close to excellent eateries. Right next to convenience store! Welcome gift was a bonus!!

Bathrooms are a little dated.

Optional limited housekeeping on a daily basis. Near cheap places to eat. Near train stations. Has suggestions of services and tourist spots at lobby.

Confusion between red light and green light - small message in card folder should suffice.

Ventilation is a little bit noisy.

Really big room with washing machine and integrated dryer. Detergent is provided. Very helpful staff when I forgot an item in my room. Free coffee in the lobby and more amenities.

Room size is amazing, feel right at home and so many eatery places nearby the hotel

Monzen-Nakacho station is a bit not direct station to where we usually go, but that's not something related to the hotel itself.

All the staff at the reception were very helpful, friendly and gave us warm customer service. They go all out to meet our requests and to ensure that our stay was an enjoyable experience. The location is excellent with the Monzen-Nakacho subway station just a couple minutes walk away and 3 train stops to Tokyo station. Perfect for families with kids as there are few playgrounds and parks nearby. There’s a pharmacy and Family Mart just round the corner. Many good restaurants, cafes, Family Marts and a couple of supermarkets very nearby. Couldn’t ask for a better location.The rooms are bigger than most hotels in Tokyo and the rooms we were in had a washing machine which is so handy.

The housekeeping can be improved.

Excellent location with plenty of restaurants and convenient shops. Near subway stations and reachable to most key tourists spots within 30 mins. Streets generally quiet and orderly. A couple of shrines nearby which made the New Year celebration gave a little festivities mood. Hotel is in good condition with coffee dispenser which was great. Staff were friendly and helpful and check in was smooth. Room size is decent at 170sqm which was just right for a couple with some room for luggages. Toilet is in good condition and clean. Water supply was strong and no leakages. Hot water was readily available when taking bath which was greatly appreciated. Always enjoyed the Japan toilet seats with gave nice and warm experience. Toiletary essentials were fully provided and cleaner was helpful in cleaning the room regularly by changing towels and clear rubbish etc. there are four rooms per floor so not noisy. There is a working area by the lobby which is useful for some reading and work. Overall, we had a great and pleasant stay that exceeded my initial expectation. Keep it up and maintain the high standard and hopefully the good price too. I'll definitely consider your hotel chain when next visit Japan. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Last but not least, we had a free airport limousine transfer provided by Booking.com which was greatly appreciated and made our arrival much easier and pleasant. The location is near to some nice local eateries.

The room was understandably small and hence get little dirtier faster. I find it absurd to need to pay for room cleaning even if u stayed for 4 5 nights. There should be a cleaning every 3 days at least. Changing towels and clearing trash is not enough for a more than 3 day stay. The bathtub drain is choked every other day and I had to clear it myself. This level of cleanliness is not acceptable.

Located in very handy location and I really enjoyed Japanese local atmosphere. The room was bigger than other hotels in Tokyo which I have ever stayed and very comfortable. So pleased to have a washing machine in my room! I will definitely go back there !

It's close to Monzen-Nakacho station, so it's easy to get to Tokyo. The staff were friendly and there was a coffee machine in the lobby for guests to use.

The room was a bit dingy. It wasn't dirty at all but it felt worn out. The bathroom had a strange smell, but flushing the toilet a few times helped to clear it up.

Very close to the station. The room is always clean, kitchenware and washing machine is very useful when traveling for few days. Also the workers are polite.

The pillows. Too thin. A lot of hotels these days offer two different pillows for each bed. This is only a minor complaint. The mattress, etc was excellent. Great hotel.

Great location next to metro station and two very interesting temples - highly recommend participating in the Goma fire ceremony in nearby Fudo temple. Also lots of nice restaurants in direct neighbourhood. Very helpful staff. Room, bathroom and bed of good size and good amenities. Washing + drying machine worked well

Airco worked well but could do with some more English explanations how to manipulate it. Same is true for washing machine: works great, but Google Lens is required to understand how to operate it. One final remark: it would be great and safe if the elevator doors in the Annex wouldn't close so quickly and briskly.

The washing machine, microwave and mini-fridge were amazing to have! The instructions were a little complicated, but once we figured it out, the washer/dryer was easy to use. The room was spacious for Tokyo and the AC worked well. I also liked the shampoo and conditioner ❤️ Bed was comfy.Location was great, too. We got everywhere where we wanted to go. Would stay here again.
