Hotel Resol Machida

The Front Desk staff were EXCELLENT! They were polite, efficient, helpful, and very knowledgeable of the local area. Great recommendations for dining options and other things I asked about.

My single person occupancy room was a little cramped, even by Japanese standards; there was no dresser or anywhere to put my clothes and only a few hangars in the narrow space designed for hanging suits.

Close to train station

Moisture in room made windows wet. Window frame was dirty. I think it was black mold.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. It is very close to Machida station and there are many shops and restaurants close by; very convenient.

The rooms are too small to accommodate more than two people, so our family had to get two rooms. But it was a very pleasant stay and we would stay here again!

The hotels location was amazing to get to great shopping and dining in Machida, I was spoiled for choice. It was also an easy walk to the train station and bus station!

The double room was just barely enough space for myself and my luggage for two weeks. The step up to the shower/restroom area was also steep.

The location is conveniently close to the Machida station. The people at the reception are very friendly. I came from France and arrived at 10 am and I was lucky to be given a room early despite an official check-in time at 3 pm. The room was small but with a bed slighly larger than a single bed. There was many available free toiletries, tea bags and coffee in the lobby, with a kettle in the room.

The room was a bit hot and the A/C was switched off when leaving the room. But since the room was small it didn't take much time for it to be cool again.

Breakfast buffet was nice and plenty to choose from. Enjoyed the tv. Didn't see any anime channels unfortunately.

Experienced a little miscommunication with the staff, but still wonderful people!

I like free water, fresh towels and location.

I did not like breakfast. The options were very limited and very odd selections of food.

The photos of the hotel are very well done but do not represent how small the rooms actually are. The lobby was nice, there was a free coffee machine. The twin non-smoking rooms were adequate for one person, and very tight for two people.

I didn’t like the cigarette smell. I reserved two non-smoking rooms and we were given only one smoking room- for people with lung problems and allergies, this was the worst. The room for two was incredibly small, the bathroom had an odd high step up & a foot grabbing step down. There were no emergency procedure in case of earthquakes etc. I believe we need a discount for having to be in a smoking room, almost ruined the trip

Good location.

I ordered a non-smoking room. However they gave me a smelly smoking room. It was written on the wall “Do not smoke in bed” so it surely was a smokers room (and you could tell by the smell). The receptionist immediately offered to change the room, but not acknowledging that they first tried to give us a smokers room. Seems to me that is just a fraud, they only give you a non-smoker-room after you complain. Anyway, we left and booked another hotel. These are just dishonest people with no pride at all. I was over 20 times in Japan and visited countless hotels – never experienced such un-japanese behaviour.

Very central and the restaurant is amazing. Plus check out is only at 11am!

Room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Housekeeping is only done once every 4 days. If the weather outside of hotel is cool the aircon in the rooms will be used as heater instead of cooling. The hotel staff will ask you to open up the window to cool the room.

The location was great. free parking.close to the station.there're many restaurants and cafes nearby the room is clean. significant amenities.

It's seasonal thing, but it was dry in the room.

Dust balls in air vent in bathroom and under beds. No western style breakfast options.

breakfast was included and price was correct. Free coffee is also included which was nice.

There was some misunderstanding during the payment process with the staff. Room was small as expected and facilities were old.

The location is nearby Machida station (bus and train).The breakfast is very nice.The bed is very comfortable and clean.Wi-Fi is good.

Breakfast !!!Very very difficult for an European Bread, croissant, jam, chocolate.... can be a good solution to solve this issue and everybody likeMy colleague (a japanese) it was also difficult for him !!!!

Underground parking. Central location

I got a non smoking room and I could still smell some smoke permeating in the “room history”.Unfortunately when you don’t smoke, one becomes very sensitive to the smell.

The staff were very polite and responsive, hotel had a very big laundry room with 4 or 5 washers and dryers. Really comfortable beds! Breakfast was okay, not the best but okay, good value. Great location with quick access to the train station and food & entertainment streets. Also, there was a water bottle in the refrigerator, with additional one on each next day of your stay! Fresh towels every day are put outside of the room, on the door handle.

Bathroom was extremely small, seemed like a wayback machine to the 80s, wash basin pipe and shower pipe are connected with a hose and you have to turn a lever depending on where you want the water to flow. Which is fine, more funny than anything but every time I exited the tub I would bump into something because the bathroom is too small. Had to open the door every time after showering to wipe off without bump into something.
