    • Nothing. This place was absolute hell. The worst place I've ever stayed. Rude and unhelpful staff, dirty facilities, inconvenient check in (they wanted me to check out every day at 10am, despite the fact I booked for four nights). Do not stay here!

    Cons -

    • Everything. This is how I imagine prison to be. I was tempted to get arrested as it would be an upgrade on this place. They wanted me to check out every day at 10am, despite booking for four consecutive nights.
    • The tatami mattress in the room was very thin and additional mattresses were not avail to make it comfortable. The hotel is getting older and a bit run down. The spa floor had water damage and needs repair. The hotel needs to repair and upgrade facilities
    • Noise level late at night

    Clean, English, good location, onsen.

Guests should be aware this is basically near the red light district and the craziness of Shinjuku. You may get hasseled by touters right outside, easy to ignore just be aware they will 100% scam you. The place is not loud though at all. No complaints about the place itself but you do have to check out every day but you can keep your luggage there while you are gone it didn't bother me at all really. Over all well worth the money.

They switched out my capsule as there was a heaven snorer near. Mich appreciated.

    Cheap nice with a bathouse.

    Noise from street

Spas and saunas Huge selection of mangas

    Only one elevator working

    1KevinPosted on: 1-2-2026

By far the worst experience I’ve had in Japan.

Everything. Dirty. Germ infested. They require you to leave everyday from 11-3 to “clean”. Looks nothing like the pictures. Located next to a pub which is very loud until very late at night. I checked out after one night of my six night stay. Do not go here.

Good for the price. Easy to check in when I arrived super late. Staff nice

Loads of people in one room. Thought the capsule could close but only curtain at the end of the bed.

Location was decent, common showers were decent.

Kicking you out daily from 11am-3pm. Cleaners are extremely loud and disruptive from the morning even before the checkout timing. No proper area to store luggages, all our bags were thrown into a common 'lounge'. Only one lift to cater to all levels, making the waiting time long.

    8arturPosted on: 12-15-2025

Your own capsule, isn’t cool!??Of course sauna great!!!

It’s a big hostel and you need to leave place from 11 am till 3 pm everyday. Means if you had crazy night in Shinjuku you can’t sleep enough

    5AldenPosted on: 12-14-2025

Location was good and capsules were fine.

They kick you out from 11-3 everyday. You can’t even be in the common area doing work during that time. Despite the dedicated cleaning time the house keepers were on the floor making noise at 830. Also bathroom floors were gross all 3 days on both floors I used.

    10ZavalaPosted on: 12-6-2025

By far the best hostel I stayed in within then last 3 weeks. Spaciousness all around, close to good restaurants. Nice showers and storage.

Daily check out can be a hassle, but to be fair your room is fresh every night in return. Wish it was optional

    8SMJarrettPosted on: 12-6-2025

I liked the location. It was easy to find, with access to many interesting places. I liked the bathroom and the amenities available. The place was clean and clearly well-maintained.

I woild stay more than one night, but I don't like that I am required to check out and then check back in. It seems a hassle and would takesup time, especially during peak season.

    3GeorgeF0Posted on: 11-25-2025

Great location (within Kabukicho), you get pajamas for free and has a common area

Shower is a public bath and is 4 floors away, the hotel had a weird layout where you have to parade in front of reception in order to go have a shower, there's a single slow elevator to serve the entire building, the capsules have a CRT screen that takes up unnecessary space, lockers are on a different floor as well, and you get kicked out between 11:00 and 15:00 so you have no place to rest at noon or early afternoon.

    7HongthongPosted on: 11-23-2025

    The location

It very hard for us to have to checkout everyday at 11.00 and have to check in everyday after 15.00, we can not stay in the hotel between 11.00-15.00, that was very inconvenient

    6ChristopherPosted on: 11-13-2025

    Simplicity in checking in. Affordable.

There are no lockers for luggage or small lock boxes in the capsule for valuables

    10thetravelercarlPosted on: 11-11-2025

I loved the capsule. They are very comfortable and provide privacy. Onsen bath threw me off but it was a good Japanese experience.

Guests need to check out at 10am and check back in at 3pm for them to clean it. It was a hassle if you want to just be lazy for the day coz they wont let you stay in your capsule.

The sauna, whirlpool & steam roomBreakfast

It’s a crowded place, I’m short and I felt like the capsule was a bit small Did like that I had to check out every day of the stay

    8Jason H.Posted on: 11-2-2025

Staff was very polite and helpful. The bathing facilities were great. The capsule bed was comfortable. The lounge was wide, spacious and comfortable. The location was amazing!

The locker room and shoe locker area were very narrow and difficult to move around. The 'restaurant' is just some vending machines.
