    Pros +

    • It is bigger room than the other 2 locations for the same price in Shinjuku and Osaka
    • Good location, friendly staff.
    • It’s near the train station and lots of restaurants and shopping area.

    Cons -

    • The breakfast is the same (either Japan or western portion, instead of the typical buffet style) if you stay multiple days you will eat the same food over and over.
    • Booked a triple room, was traveling with spouse and child. Had to pay extra for my child.
    • The décor is starting to look a bit dated. But they keep things well maintained.

It’s near the train station and lots of restaurants and shopping area.

It was alright, for the price it was worth it.

    4ElkinsPosted on: 10-28-2025

    Location was great.

The key needed to be turned in before leaving. The staff continued to ask us about it several times a day as we left though there were two people in the room and onlyOne was leaving. It was dated and haf no amenities.

Very good location, close to many nice places to visit. Staff very helpful and kind.

The room is old and dated. Nowadays is almost impossible to find this kind of rooms.

Clean. Great location. Very suitable for kids.

    No luggage sending service.

    8Etal_34Posted on: 8-20-2025

Front Desk staff was very helpful in allow us to leave our luggage in the extra room so we could leave the hotel and explore after our check out time and return at a later time to get our luggage when we return to our country.

If the front desk staff could call our luggage shipping service to make sure our luggage arrive at the airport on time before we leave.

    Location location location !

No fitness center but the restaurant and staff are incredible.

    10LukePosted on: 7-31-2025

The location was amazing, only 5-10 minute walk to Shibuya Crossing/subway and is located near the residential area so it is quiet.

The breakfast could be a little better.

    9TiffanyPosted on: 6-21-2025

Excellent location, super helpful staff, awesome room… the room was a little bit “Die Hard” circa 1990, but it was very big and comfortable for a family of 4 and had great windows in a curved wall overlooking the street.

Rooms are clean and a bit larger than most rooms in Japan. It's about a 10-12 minute walk from Shibuya crossing, so it is pretty quiet at night. The included breakfast was a nice touch. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a good stay.

Room doors should be upgraded to a modern card key system as they still use a regular key that you are required to drop at the front desk whenever you go out. There were a lot of bars in the area, so it seemed a bit sketchy at night, but we didn't have any issues.

The hotel is in a really good location.

The room was a bit hot at night. The A/C didn't help, but opening the windows did.

    10AnnPosted on: 4-22-2025

The room was big and roomy compared to other hotel rooms we have stayed at. We were able to fit 3 large suitcases and still have walk room. The staff were exceptional. They were cordial, respectful and went beyond the call of duty. They made sure our stay was comfortable and helped us with all communications with reservations, taxi, etc... because of language barrier. The hotel was close to Shibuya crossing. Everything was about an 8 minutes walk. We walked to restaurants and shopping. The farthest we have walked was shopping for 12 minutes.

This is a very classic Japanese hotel. The location is brilliant and the breakfast room was amazing. The rooms are a little dated, but that's what we liked about it to begin with.

The ambience of the entry could be brought up to date a little more, especially considering the cool area the hotel is in. The front area had a vase of flowers that had started to die and made the lobby smell really bad. In the whole two days we were there, no one changed them or got rid of them, despite the odour getting stronger. It may seem slight, but it was the only noticeable bad thing about our stay.

Excellent breakfast. Rooms were last updated in 1982. (I don’t know this for sure. It just seemed that way.) Rooms were clean. Lobby was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown shibuya. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke, but surprisingly, our non-smoking room smelled fine.

    8CrystalPosted on: 3-31-2025

    Distance to town center

All of the women were super sweet and helpful. ALL of the men were rude and acted like we were bothering them if we asked a question.

    9AlexandraPosted on: 3-10-2025

Perfect location; quick walk to the shopping areas, various subway entrances, some laundromats, and Yoyogi Park, but also far enough away from the hustle and bustle that the hotel stay itself was nice and quiet in the evening. Interactions with the staff were always very pleasant; we felt welcome every time we entered the lobby and the cleaning staff is thorough and consistent. We also opted for breakfast every morning, which was great quality between both options provided (Western or Japanese); filling, but light enough to get us ready for the day. Our room itself was pretty compact, however it was still just the right size for me and my husband, and to be able to separately access both our large suitcases with no hassle.

The rooms were often times uncomfortably warm at night that it made it difficult to sleep. Although there are temperature controls within each room, the overall heating/cooling is controlled by the hotel for the building as a whole. We stayed late Jan-early Feb, so the heating was of course turned on. I guess guests have complained about this often enough that they posted an explanation/apology for this in the elevator. We easily alleviated this problem by opening the window.

My wife was accused of letting a man inside our room via phone by the front desk staff not verifying who that was!!! Two blatant mistakes and accusations, first mistake my wife is always with me so my wife was very upset and didn’t like the impression left by the front desk staff! Second mistake, it was the other room, room 302 who had relatives living in Japan meeting them and went to their room! Our room was room 303!!! My wife was very angry with said accusation and the tone of the staff of charging us for extra person was even worse! That was a very bad phone call from the front desk staff!!!!
