    Pros +

    • Location, beautiful rooms, and amazing team super friendly and helpful.
    • This is a very contemporary and chic hotel with a wonderful staff. We especially enjoyed the hotel’s Punch Bar—we ended up going back twice during our short stay. We also loved the cheerful breakfast area on the top floor. The concierge was extremely helpful and made some great reservations for us ahead of time.
    • Clean and spacious room. The staff has very high attention to details. Location is within Ginza and near the metro station. One of the best hotels that I stayed in.

    Cons -

    • Nothing. Perfect stay.
    • Nothing!
    • We were disappointed with the architecture which was designed by Kengo Kuma, one of the most renowned Japanese architect. From the outside, the building looks very generic.

Location was excellent, but what stood out the most was the service offered by the team of concierges, the receptionists, the manager and the waiters. All were most helpful, friendly and courteous. Also, the room was well designed and spacious for a Ginza hotel. Would definitely return.

An exceptional stay in the heart of Ginza; unbeatable in terms of location. You’re right in the centre of it all, with world-class shopping, dining, and culture just steps away. The breakfast was outstanding, served in a beautiful, serene setting. After a day of exploring Tokyo, I loved unwinding with a different cocktail each evening at the elegant Punch Room. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff—they are exceptional. Warm, intuitive, and always greeting you by name, they made me feel genuinely cared for. The concierge service was phenomenal; no request was too much, and every recommendation was spot-on.A wonderful bonus was complimentary access to the spa facilities at their sister property—a luxurious touch that elevated the experience even further. And don’t miss the high tea—it’s absolutely spectacular. This was, without a doubt, my best stay in Tokyo. I can’t wait to return.

Hotel staff is very polite and has service-minded. Location is very convenient. Room is quiet and nice to sleep.

Price is a little bit too expensive.

Great staff very helpful. Hotel has zero public space. Very hectic and no place to sit and relax.

Location in the middle of GinzaFriendliness of all employees

The room lacks some basic features and amenities like Towel hooks or a towel rail or a bench for bags and suitcases. I think here it is design over practicality

Excellent service from all the staff. We were always greeted with a smile and asked about our day. Breakfast options were excellent and delicious! Concierge was also amazing in helping us in making reservations for dinner. Only wish would be a spa in the hotel! Highly recommend and would return again :)

The hotel location is amazing, staff is super, rooms are impecable, super clean. The only thing I disliked is the gym, too small, no treadmills, not enough equipment. Overall stay was amazing.

Amazing hotel! Details make this hotel a gem in the middle of the Ginza area... Minutes away from wonderful restaurants and street food, to the widest range of Tokyo's best shopping experiences!

The Tokyo Edition Ginza has the warmest, most attentive staff and hotel manager I've ever met and its not only on our first day but all throughout our 4 night stay. ALL of them has the sincere smile and accommodating attitude to hotel guests. On top of it, the twin room we booked was very spacious and has a relaxing vibe that makes you feel at home after a whole day of walking/touring/shopping. We appreciated the complimentary delicious welcome fruit- sweet and crunchy bunch of Muscat grapes which was available just at the right time when we all need that sweet healthy quick fix. We thoroughly enjoyed our daily breakfast and tried almost all the food offerings in the menu. 4 nights at the Edition was just perfect and made our Japan family trip more memorable and relaxed.

I found the scent of the Le Labo toiletries (shampoo, body wash) quite strong and heavy leaning towards masculine in terms of scent. Although I appreciate the use of a niche brand for their toiletries but I felt a bit sneezy when I inhale the scent. Other family members are okay with the scent though.

    Proximity. Design. Elegance.

    Short on Facilities.

The location is great. Fantastic breakfast of good produce. Their Concierge team were extremely helpful and lovely.

Some staff, perhaps too young, lacks better English and common sense. Their bathrooms are too dark. Not good for females when they make up.

    10RajivPosted on: 7-27-2024

Excellent hotel, staff very helpful, rooms spacious and very clean. Excellent location. All in all very good.

The location is beyond perfect. The room was cosy and comfortable.

The reception was a bit too crowded and noisy.
