Grand Central Hotel

Location was good, room clean, breakfast was ok.

Booked a 2 bed twin non-smoking & was given a room w/a single full bed. When informed of the error, the staff attempted to convince me that this was a 2 bed room because the full slept 2. Had to really push for them to correct it.

Excellent location to Kanda Station. The Staff was very helpful and pleasant to work with. The room is smaller by American Standards, but larger than many Japanese rooms. Very good Lighting and USB setups for phones/ipads.

The bedding was clean, but getting a little worn on the bedspread/comforter. Might want to upgrade or offer the client an upgraded bedding package. The hotel does have special foam pillows that are very comfortable.

I liked that our room had 3 beds and wasn’t too far from the train station.

How hot it was once you walked inside. We went the first week of January so the weather was cold outside so we were bundled up. But as soon as we walked in it was like a sauna. Not the best feeling when you’re already tired from walking your luggage down the street and a 12 hr flight. We were already grumpy and tired. But everything else was great!

Comfortable beds and very clean and organized at front of desk during check in/out.

The location was a bit further away from the train station that we needed to make our trip.Not very close to tourist spots like shopping, eateries, etc. Lacked the vibe.

Possibility of getting more pillows

The bathroom was very old and the whole room small.

Location was very good since we were able to access many train stations. Meetup place of tours is just a station away. There was also a grocery and a lot of convenience stores within the area. The room was clean and beds were comfortable, although it is small. We were surprised that they clean up the room every day! Check in and check out is very smooth.

They could have improve on how we can get drinking water. It was quite challenging to transfer from a small cup to our containers. The room also is quite outdated but it can be ignored since we are almost all day not in the hotel.

Access to the laundry area is a bit obscured and scary

Booked a single room which was small and clean. You can request each day for cleaning or not. Towels will be left at door. There's an amenities bar near reception if you need some extra stuff like lotions or sunscreen. the location is near a few subway lines maximum 8 mins away. Kinda close to Tokyo, Ginza, and Akihabara. Good location as it's quiet at night. Free coffee and energy shots in the lobby. Easy to use check in and check out. Bring cash or credit for the per night fee that's by law.

If you need to do the Laundry room make sure you have 50 yen coins I think. You can buy detergent from the lobby desk or bring your own. Getting to the room is a little awkward as you are slightly exposed to the elements and walk two flights down, so don't wear any slippery footware that my slip if the stairs were wet.

Good location, close to a train station, convenience stores, and restaurant options. Nice clean room with good amenities!

The staff were accommodating and kind. Although I think the hotel is kind of old, it’s structures and amenities are still competitive and great. The breakfast at Pronto restaurant serves good menu also and the staff there also are kind and accommodating.

Location, price, and very clean. Prontos restaurant that was located in the hotel was very good!

We had 3 beds in our room. The two full size beds were comfortable. The third twin was like laying on a board. I wouldn't recommend doing three beds.

Near Kanda station from where you can easily visit the highlights of Tokyo. Many restaurants in this area. Excellent space room and bathroom for this price. Breakfast is not a buffet, you can choose between 2 options.

You can only choose 1 drink for breakfast. You can't take coffee or tea, and orange juice.

5 minutes walk to the station and a few convenience stores nearby.Some of the staff are nice but not all.

Once you turn off lights at night..everything turns off so you can't charge devices overnight and the fridge turns off as well. When you come back in the evening to the hotel after spending the day out sight seeing you only have a few hours to charge your devices which was terrible. There were days we had to sleep with the lights on just simply because we had to charge our phones.There was a working exhaust fan in the bathroom so the bathroom mirror fogs up each when you use the shower which was quite disappointing.It was a very small room for three adults, no room even for luggages inside.

The room was clean and it was larger than we expected. We appreciated that we were able to leave our luggage after checkout and pick it up later that day. They have different pillows to choose from that you can ask for next to the elevator/reception. Unfortunately, I didn't see them until we were checking out.
