Pros +
- Very convenient to the train station and to the Ginza. Very nice accommodations.
- Spacious rooms, clean and comfortable. Guest amenities are great. Friendly staff.
- The hotel is centrally located and is just a 5 min walk to the main Ginza shopping area. Right opposite is the little underground boulevard with tonnes of bars and restaurants. The room is well decorated and clean. The staff is really courteous too, there's a smoking room and gym on the 3rd floor which is convenient for smokers since you can't smoke in most public places in Japan. They give you pajamas and since we were travelling with our child they gave a kid size pajamas to my child, too. She was thrilled. They also had a coffee machine in the room which was such a nice touch especially when you're on holiday.
Cons -
- Only complaint was no shopping inside building - like souvenirs or snacks.
- The rooms could have been a little larger and I wish there was a cupboard to store things, we had to leave all our shopping stuff in bags on the floor and it got a tad bit messy due to that.

Good location, clean room
The room had a weird smell of plastic and rubber like it was just refurbished. Which would be ironic since the choice of black as the main colour scheme for the room makes it appear more like a dingy 1980s boutique hotel than a comfortable business hotel. As a result of the colour, the room also appeared really dark, with insufficient ceiling light and claustrophobic design.
The area is wonderful, plus the presence of convenient stores and restaurants in the area are a short walking distance from the hotel, and train stations within the vicinity of the hotel.
Breakfast options.
The hotel is very nice and clean. Few steps away from the Shimbashi train station. Room is quite small but clean. It could be noisy if you choose a room facing the train station. The staff was very polite in changing my room to a quite one.
Great location. Very nice breakfast and excellent staff service.
This hotel smells bad. We woke up at 5am to the smell of sewage. We had to pack up and switch to another room on the 10th floor. It smelled better but the next morning, the smell of feces was coming through the vent into our room. We were informed by the night shift staff that the pipes were old in the building. We can't wait to check out and move to a better hotel.
Loved the decor, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Loved the convenience of the location and how it was on the quieter side of Tokyo.
Not much
Room was clean and bed was comfortable, staff are helpful and friendly, and location is close to train stations to get into the more touristy parts of Tokyo. Hotel offers a laundry service, if you drop off before 10am you’ll have the laundry back that same night. Very expensive but it was helpful for us as we were stopping in Tokyo for a few nights as part of a 3 week trip through Asia.
Hotel breakfast is a huge let down for the price - Approx $90 AUD for a bowl of cereal and the smallest “cooked breakfast” I’ve ever seen. Only went there the once. The room itself is quite small and as is the ensuite which makes it uncomfortable even just for a couple. There is no real space to store suitcases so in a small space it is very easy to become crowded and messy just due to lack of practicality in room design. I think this hotel is more suited to solo business travellers
New fitout that looks great. Hotel staff where attentive and polite. Great location, right next to the train station with plenty of food within walking distance.
Breakfast food offering did not meet expectations. Unfortunately heard a lot of noise from adjacent rooms (even while on second-most top floor), and guest arriving within corridors.
The room was nice and staff nice also.
We didn't eat at the hotel, but got 2 coffees. They were very expensive, over $20 AUD for 2 small coffees, nothing special to justify that price. Pillows on bed were too soft, had to constantly re-fluff them.
Location was great, close to Dotonbori but not in the noisier parts of it. Rooms were clean.
Depending on when you get back to the hotel there could be a long queue for the lifts as the lifts were quite small and couldn't fit a lot of people. The interior was quite dark but it seems like that's the theme they have gone with. Would have preferred lighter fixtures / walls etc.
Very friendly staff. Easy check in.The restaurant was good in terms of type, variety and quality of food.
Hotel looked a bit old.The rooms were smaller than the other hotels stayed in Japan.
Location is great as it is very near several metro lines. It is also located in the quieter side of shimbashi and of walking distance to Ginza area. The wifi was great, and the amenities provided (pj, toiletries, etc) were sufficient. Bottled water was refilled daily. There was a portable humidifier/air purifier provided but I do not know if I used it correctly cos I still felt that the nights were pretty dry. The toilet was spacious and the room size was adequate (can’t complain much since everywhere in Tokyo has small room sizes).
The pillows were a bit flat to my liking. I did not really utilise the day lounge area (by the window) in the room so it is a bit of a wasted space for me.
While it was the smallest room we stayed at during our 27 days in Japan - we booked Privilege King Room. The room was big enough for the 2 of us & our luggage. I especially liked the bed as it was the same size as our bed at home. Be aware there is no clothes cupboard/closet so you will be living out of your luggage. The location was was great for walking to Ginza & also getting to Asakusa & Kappabashi as I wanted to shop during our last 3 days this location for me was ideal. It was also really easy for the pre-booked Taxi pick-up at 5:30am for getting to Heneda Airport as they could stop right outside the lobby for pick-up.
Bed
Too dark decoration especially bathroom and lights not bright enough and carpets black. Gave an experience of not so clean.
Location
Some of the staff was unfriendly and quite rude. We were charged a fee for a 10 min late check out, despite the explanation that the lateness was due to our kids were sick.
Nice location. New hotel
Once in about 3-4hr the water pipe in the bathroom made a weird sound. Quite loud. No light in the bathroom so impossible to do makeup. If you want to stay an hour later after check out (11:00) they will charge you hourly rate.
