Rooms were spacious enough for Tokyo. Had a good restaurant for breakfast and dinner along with a side bakery. Staff were nice. Rooms were clean and hotel quiet.

A bit of a walk to the train station but after a heavy meal in shinjuku it was worthwhile staying just a little further.

Really cool theme, rooms were small but I don’t think that’s on them. Food was amazing.

    10BernadettePosted on: 1-28-2026

    The location and the cleanliness.

Maybe another floor of laundry room.

    10BernadettePosted on: 1-28-2026

Cleanliness, and the on site bakery and restaurants were great. Staff was helpful and so nice.

The laundry facility was convenient but it was always being used and it didn’t seem enough for how many floors they have to accommodate everyone’s laundry needs. Luckily there is a 24-hr laundromat behind the hotel building which they also recommend if needed.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was pricey but experience made it worth it. Hotel was away from the crowd but close enough to enjoy a nice 20 min walk to all the fun stuff. We enjoyed our honeymoon stay!

    Everything was perfect!

Bakery, restaurant, well appointed rooms, location across road from park

Rooms are very tight, which was ok, just no room for suitcases

    8DinaPosted on: 1-23-2026

Modern and hip located in a quiet neighborhood. Restaurant is bustling. About a 10-min walk to Shinjuku metro.

    Small room

    9DinaPosted on: 1-23-2026

Hip, modern boutique hotel. A 10-minute walk to Shinjuki station. Very lively restaurant and bar scene at night.

The Knot was perfect for a traveler spending a weekend in Tokyo. The view of the park in the morning & the municipal building at night made it a great spot to hang out and people watch inbetween adventures. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, which was a great boon.

The room will definitely feel a little small if you're on the taller side, but that's par for the course with most Tokyo hotels. Tochomae Station is ostensibly walkable, but with at least three sets of stairs between the train platform & the street, then another 100 meters across the park to the hotel, it can be a slog after a long day.

Breakfast buffet was great. Cool vibe and not too crazy of a walk from the stations.

Thin thin walls. I don’t think our neighbors or people in the hallway were unreasonably loud but we could hear everything while we were in our room at night by and in the morning. Wasn’t ideal for sleep before a long trip back home or after a long day out sightseeing.

Loved having the park across the street and the bakery downstairs was the perfect breakfast spot. Rooms were comfortable

I liked the cafe & bar in the hotel.

So many people coming and going all the time. The lobby is a non-stop mad house filled with luggage. The location is honestly awful, and that is entirely our fault for not triple checking how far away the train stations were. Not to mention every neighborhood is about 40 minutes away via train from the hotel. Would not recommend to anyone.

    7AntonyPosted on: 1-19-2026

The location was good, it’s a 10 minute walk to Shinjuku Station.

The design of the room is inferior to other hotels that I stayed it, including Keihan Kyoto and Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda. In the Knot’s room there is only one USB charging port next to the bed which makes it annoying when you just want to lie down on your bed and re-charge your phone (if travelling with 2 people or more).

    10TracyPosted on: 1-19-2026

No odorThe curtain blocks all lightNeed was fineThe bed and nightstand could be rearranged so 2 people could set things next to them at night. All elevators worked quicklyLarge trashcanGreat wifi which is importantCombination door lock is nice

Bump my head in the shower. I'm 6'3". It was not very bad though.

Check-in was delightful as we were greeted by the sweetest staff members. Our hotel room was cleaned and stocked with waters daily, followed by a deep cleaning in the middle of our stay. The hospitality was remarkable. The beds were comfortable, room was surprisingly spacious, and bathroom was great (big bathtub was a plus). In terms of location, the Keio bus is a short walk away, with buses coming every 10 minutes, leaving you right in the center of Shibuya/Shinjuku area to shop at places like Donki, Onitsuka Tiger, and more. Lots of good places walking distance, some of my favorites being Yoshinoya, Family Mart, McDonalds, Lawson, etc. Overall, I extremely recommend this hotel for tourists.

Bakery is awesome. Upstairs lounge are nice too.

More seating in lobby, better napkins (not plastic feeling tan ones), trash can in lobby.
