Hotel Monterey Lasoeur Ginza

Room was very pretty and comfortable, and off a main street, so quiet. Breakfast was wonderful, both presentation and contents. Bathroom had lots of hot water and good water pressure, and tub was great too.

There is not enough space in the lobby! A tour group had arrived when we were meeting a family friend in the lobby. There were bags & loud people everywhere, the staff were overwhelmed, and I was frankly embarrassed. A better group checkin plan is needed!

Tokyo station is about 15 to 20 minute walk from the hotel.

Location was amazing! Hotel is in the heat of Ginza. It was walking distance to three major subways plus a short walk from Tokyo Central Station. This hotel made a great base camp for exploring Tokyo. Staff was wonderful and room was comfortable.

The only complaint was the size of the room, it's small. That's a given for Tokyo though and normal

We booked Monterey La Soeur Ginza because it was one of the most reasonably priced for what looked like a well-maintained and fairly large room for Tokyo standards. As a couple, we really did not want to have to sleep in a double bed. The prices of Queen Rooms in Tokyo are ridiculously high and rare. We opted for a double room, which meant we also had a reasonably sized room. Like most rooms in Tokyo, impossible to keep your luggage open. Luckily, we were able to slip our luggage under the bed, which made it easy to grab things and store our purchases throughout the week. We paid for a late checkout, which cost about $10 per hour, a very reasonable price and worth it! The location is great, with the closest metro stations (on different lines) just a 5-minute walk away, and the hotel is approximately a 12-minute walk from Tokyo Station. There is a 7-Eleven next to the hotel, making it easy to grab breakfast. If you are into shopping, Ginza is the perfect district for you. We had planned a day of shopping, so it worked out for us. Any location you choose in Tokyo will require that you take the metro. For us, the key was to be near Tokyo Station because we arrived via bullet train and had planned to take the bus to Mount Fuji and the Airport.The room was very clean, the bathroom was spotless, the staff was great, and the beds were comfy. Oh, and their hairdryer is just pure magic! I have never had my long hair fry so quickly! Overall, highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at the hotel as I absolutely love this place. It’s a lovely quiet location, in a beautiful area of Tokyo. The room is really tastefully done, clean and comfortable. The staff are lovely too.

Location! It’s near to the main shopping area, everything is just about 1km away ~20 min walks. Convenient stores are just besides the hotel. It is also a walkable distance from Tokyo train station ~950 mtr away.

Staff, Quality of service, Location.

The breakfast was the same each day with no variation - its good for 1 nisgt stay and not for 4 as I did it. Otherwise, everything was quite perfect!

Not what i expected! It was more than my expectations. Thank you Lasoeur Ginza for the pleasant stay. They were very cooperative with me when i left some personal items and i was away from town. Additionally, it’s close to transportations.

Cleanliness and amenities

Size. It was tight and had little space for luggage to be opened

It was so cute and comfy. I loved the pajamas and all the stuff provided for use. It was close to the train station and near all sorts of food.

Would have preferred a larger bed but I understand that it was busy and over booked.

Close to Tokyo station

Old and run down, staff was incompetent, they sent my cab driver to the wrong bus stop for the bus limousine to Narita. Breakfast was disgusting and the staff was incompetent and rude!

Clean and location

Address in google of apps it’s wrong , taxi and uber always take you in back street . Even I couldn’t find it first until call !!! Rooms is small ( I stayed 2 wise and still back because location and it’s clean .

Great location, helpful staff

The room was tiny and didn’t have space to store clothes.

The sophistication of the venue and their professionalism. They also let us check-in earlier as the rooms were ready

The hotel is in-between stations, so there are multiple ways to get to it although not a direct line. So some walk with the bags is expected to reach the hotel

The breakfast was fabulous and the location perfect for our first stay in Tokyo

Good location heart of Tokyo Ginza area, Staff will helpful and good commard english speaking. Also guest room very cleaning and quite good for body recovery.

Close to train station, shopping center, food, convenient stores

I stayed for 9 nights and from the 1st night to the 9th night my back hurts. Front desk does not like foreigners.

Location is great with easy access to major subway lines and very good connection to Haneda airport if that's how you are/arriving. Japanese soaker tub is perfect for unwinding after a long touring day.

double room is quite small for two people. More room size range available at nearby hotels.
