Hotel Gracery Tokyo Tamachi

Good value, clean, great service!

The Garmercy Tamachi hotel staff was great. Very friendly and helpful when we had questions. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and wait staff did an excellent job cleaning them.

Hotel elevators have little or no ventilation, so they can get very stuffy. Otherwise, nothing negative to say.

A non-Japanese staff who speak English at check-in very rude. Does not meet overall Japanese standards.

Bad attitude

It's an easy, short walk from Tamachi Station. The hotel is on a very quiet street, but only a minute or two from plenty of convenience stores, restaurants,, shopping, and a good-sized supermarket (Life). Nearby Tamachi Station is only a few stops away from Tokyo Station, so it's convenient as a base for Tokyo. It also provides easy access to Kawasaki and Yokohama. But beware, there are markings on the ground in the station which seem to indicate that it gets really crowded during rush hour. Keep that in mind. However, I was there on the weekend, so that didn't come into play, and no problem. Also, I live in Japan, and have been to Tokyo too many times to count, so I don't need to stay in one of the typical Tokyo hotspots. So for me, this was a really nice area to stay. The hotel itself wasn't over the top great, but was very good. I thought the staff was efficient and pleasant, and I give them high marks. The room was, for Japan, relatively spacious, and had everything you need. Again, high marks. On the other hand, I was a little disappointed with the breakfast. There was variety, but the eggs were cold and the sausages were cheap tasting. Other items were kind of typical, ... but good. There was a curry that was very tasty. So, in short, I was pleased with the location, the staff, and the room itself, but was a little (not a lot, but a little) dissatisfied with the breakfast. All that said, I think it's very likely I'll be staying here again in the future, and I'm quite happy to recommend Hotel Gracery Tamachi to others. It's a nice place to stay.

Location. Everything is accessible and only few minutes walk to the train station. Amenities were great. AC was great.

Room size very small. Furniture outdated. Bathroom has unpleasant smell. The day of room cleaning we came back and found not one but three wet rags left on top of our luggage.

The location was very good and walkable to stations The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful with every request .

5 mins walk to Tamachi train stations,laundry coin machine,free coffee and water dispenser at lobby.very clean room. Quiet area .aircondostioning is available .staff are all nice but english is very limited

Property was in a quiet area, less than a 10min walk to a local station line & JR line, and the free breakfast was amazing. 10/10 stay; the staff, amenities, and area was excellent.

Staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome. I had a package delivered and it was waiting for me at reception

more USB charging outlets would have been good

We travelled to Japan for the following day embarkation to cruise line. I lost my homework of how to get the hotel from JR station. It was a little struggle. Anyway, We got to the hotel after all. Every thing was OK.

Room is a little small. However, it is in Tokyo. I think it is acceptable.

Perfect, room is spacious and staff are really helpful if you’re a foreigner. They help you check in and out smoothly

The room, breakfast, location and staff were great. The room was very clean and well set up for the space available. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. The location is a short walk, 10 to 15 minutes, from a train station enabling easy access to different parts of Tokyo. The staff were very friendly, helpful and respectful of us as patrons of the hotel.

Very clean, with a cool atmosphere. It includes coffee and bread free for breakfast. The staff speak good English and are very helpful.

Comfortable room, welcoming staff, great bar/ restaurant, quieter location in an old part of Tokyo that was great to explore. Hood proximity to the metro.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Quiet neighborhood with food and convenient stores in very close proximity. It's around 10 minutes walk to Mita station which you can take the direct Asakusa line to Narita airport, also near to Tamachi station. Good value for money overall. Love the breakfast.

Location is okay since it's still near train stations with Yamanote line, but personally found it a bit further compared to other neighborhoods. The walk to Narita station is a bit challenging if you have multiple luggage (I had to take stairs up and down because of ongoing construction).

It was a good a location, conbinis, grocery stores and restaurants. Near transit as well. Provided many amenities and good service. Fair price point.

The walls and bathroom floor tiles were pretty worn out and scratched up. Peeling wall paper. The air conditioner units were pretty dirty/gunked up and sometimes made clicking noises.

Hotel is close to the airport with free shuttle service available. Large and clean bedroom

Restaurant opening hours are limited, open until 21:30.

Location was amazing; staff were very helpful and attentiveAmenities were well providedGetting to hotel to and from airport was a breeze. Took Narita-TYO AIRPORT bus, hotel then a short cab ride away. Never had to worry about hauling luggage

Quite some dust in hard to reach areas of room. Probably does not need as regular a clean but once in a while scheduled in would be helpfulCoffee maker in room would not work - but coffee available in guest lounge

Good location and a walking distance from JR Tamachi station which is a few stops away from major terminals such as Tokyo and Shinagawa. Good access from both Haneda and Narita airport with direct service to Mita metro station as well.

Nothing. The room is not huge but minimal and has essential amenities. The hotel offers very good breakfast at the restaurant but I did not have as my flight was in the early morning.
