Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya

The cleaning was not very good and the amenities were minimal compared to other hotels in the same area that we paid less for

Properties are clean and good location

The staff was unable to make restaurant for 3 days.no update and i needed to follow up everyday.

The location is great! Very close to trains, shopping, tourist areas, great food. The hotel room was much larger than I expected, plenty of room for 3 people, and included a washer/dryer unit! It took all day to wash and dry a load but was still super convenient. It was worth paying extra for the daily breakfast buffet. Everything was very fresh. Staff were helpful and friendly.

No problems, just be prepared to get lost a lot! The tall buildings make GPS not work so you have to re-learn how to navigate by signs, or ask for directions. Hotel itself is great.

The place is very clean and comfortable, but what they hide ( and some how there are no reviews about) is that half the rooms face the train and are very very noisy

The staff were wonderful in accommodating our baggage when we had to change room type. It was central to everything and very convenient.

I loved the layout of the room and how spacious it was. I love how close I was located to the train station and the area surrounding the hotel was just so beautiful and clean and safe feeling with restaurants and little cafés all around.

Good location and rooms are well laid out, lots of storage space. Having an in room washer and dryer is convenient. We didn't use the kitchen or microwave, but that would be convenient for families/longer stay.

Room smelt like mold, staff did not offer to help with luggage, the breakfast was extremely bad (cold/tasteless), no bathrobes or slippers, and overall ambience was cold/unwelcoming. It just was not worth the price. We stayed at the Cerulean for 2 nights prior for the same $ before moving here because they were sold out, and the difference in customer service, amenities, quality of breakfast/everything was night and day.

The rooms were very roomy. They had all the amenities in the room, like a washer dryer, a big refrigerator, huge shower, and the beds were comfortable. The location was the best part. Below was the JR station, and shopping, food, and it is at the quieter side of Shibuya. I will definitely stay here again.

Place was hard to find for Ubers, so just be aware. That's about it really

The location is great, adjacent to Shibuya train station and an easy walk to many of the iconic sight of Shibuya and Shinjuku. Staff members were welcoming and helpful with directions and other needs.

We only wish that directions from the train station to the hotel were clearer! Tokyo was our first stop, so after an 11 hour flight, we were exhausted. We had no way of knowing that the station was directly connected to the hotel. I would recommend that the property send instructions to all guests with directions.

Hyatt House was a wonderful place to stay. It is centrally located in Shibuya and close to many things. The room was wonderful. The beds were comfy and the rooms were super clean. The shower was strong and we always rested well every night. In the middle of our stay, we had to change room types since our room was not available for the last night we were there. The Hyatt staff was great! They moved our luggage from our first room to the new room. Then we just picked up our new key card. We absolutely loved our stay at Hyatt House.

Navigating to the Hyatt House through Shibuya Station was quite complicated. I did not realize how big Shibuya Station was. Once we figured out the gate though, it was a lot easier. It would have been nice to have a map of Shibuya and all the exits so that I could figure out how to get to the line I needed easily. But this was a minor thing and had nothing to do with the actual hotel itself. We were very happy with the Hyatt House!

Everything! The location, the beds, the cleanliness, and the hotel staff were amazing. most of all we love the washer dryer combo!! The microwave and freezer refrigerator are great.

Knew it would be a busy part of town and in hindsight we should have chosen less busy location.

Breakfast was OK, but basic. We had one lunch, which was excellent

(1) There is a lot of construction around Shibuya station. (2) Getting from Shibuya station to the hotel the first time is a challenge. Get the hotel website directions and follow closely.

A little tight in space but it's to be expected in Tokyo and more expensive than our other hotels in Japan (it is a Hyatt)

Perfect location to explore Tokyo , shibuya area and right next to the train station. In room nespreso was delicious!

Loved this hotel! Location and facilities and the service was exceptional. Very very clean and comfortable room.The room has me the fully equiped kitchenette which was fabulous even the washing machine came in handy. Plenty of storage. Don’t know if it was value for money as it was a bit on the expensive side.

The bar area is very underwhelming it’s basically a small space with high chairs at the end of the reception desk. The breakfast basically has everything you would need for a filling breakfast… but for the price it should have more choices even have the omelette service or have your eggs made the way you want them. The only serious issue is that the bathroom has an obscure glass door and you can see shadows of people sitting on the toilet or drying after a shower … not our thing ?

Superb hotel, great location right at the heart of most happening Shibuya. Two minutes from Shibuya station and 5 minutes from the scrambled crossings, with countless restaurants and food options. Was pleasantly surprised by the amount of room space, extraordinary hospitality, great breakfast and in-suite facilities e.g. as hot plate, washing machine, refrigerator etc.
