Akihabara Washington Hotel

location is excellent. short walk from central exit of Akihabara station. Line of sight to hotel after exiting station... easy to get to rolling luggage. security is good. prox card for room is also used for selecting your floor of elevator.

shower water pressure very weak. First hotel Ive been to in Japan no free bottled water in room. razor that you must pick up from lobby does not come with shaving creme. Room is only stocked with tooth brushes daily. THIN walls, poor sound insulation.

Location

The best part of the hotel is the location wherein the train station is just a few steps away.

The room is a bit small for 2 persons & they don't have closets.

Just the right amount of room space for the price. Great location.

Hallway to rooms can feel dark due to wall color. Luggage storage area for when I checked out does not feel secure. While the system does prevent the luggage from being taken outright, however its possible for ne’er do wells to access the luggage contents and potentially steal things. With the hotel being used by alot of tourists, I felt nervous the entire time my luggage was stored there.

Room is clean and facilities are satisfactory. We are aware that typically most hotel rooms in Tokyo are small, hence he Superior Twin room is decently comfortable for a family with one kid. The hotel is right opposite Akihabara station so travelling is very convenient. Yodobashi is right opposite as well and it's open till 10pm daily. Just right for late shopping after a day of visiting the attractions. There is also Family Mart and 7-Eleven nearby so our late night snack fix are catered to.

Very close to train station, cleanliness, service, breakfast, room etc. are all excellent.

The view from my current room, room design was well placed and ease of access, the bathroom was a logical placement and ease of use. It felt considerably comfortable staying within the room.

The floor design felt cumbersome to walk to my room, however negligible due to room and its view, the vending machine and microwave is located a little far from the room, it being close could be better, alongside the 3rd floor laundromat could be in a dedicated in each floor for ease of access.

I didn't expect so nice hotel. They had wonderful breakfast and normally I skip it, bit you can skip eggs not cavior. Room was very well equipped. Stuff very nice and view from my room was to a little charming shrine. All you need is close. Akihabara station. Stores of all kind, very good and not expensive restaurants. Nothing but recommend.

The location is very Central in Akihabara basically right next to the train station.

Amazing location, 100m from JR lines and metro. Very clean with daily services including change of towels, average size for Tokyo, easy check-in/out, in-house laundry, fast WiFi.

Extremely standard hotel experience however what you are paying for is the location, it is across the street from main Akihabara station and around the corner from the main strip, you really can’t beat the location. The AC worked good and the rest was nothing special

The beds could be too hard for most people. The lack of a real ice machine was annoying, the ice machine that is advertised that’s in the lobby only holds enough ice to fill a water bottle

I stay in a non-smoking room but there are smoking smells inside our room occasionally. I suspected the smoking smell comes from the wall aircon vent inside the room.

The bathroom wasn't disinfected, in some corners, washbasin is clearly seen the dirt. The curtain had a stain, the pillow too, in the hinges of the door there was thick dust.

The room was very well bang for the buck. It has a mini fridge, even in the cheapest room, which was awesome. The location was superb- it was right next to the station which I used nearly every day. Made exploring Tokyo significantly easier. The only location that could possibly be better would be the Tokyo Station, but then your priority probably isn't Akhihabara

The towels

The location and value for money will be my top most liked thing about this place. A lot of places to visit and eat at, and it's at the center of Akihabara. The location was so close to Gyukatsu Motomura and Sando Lab and Yakiniku Like!

I felt the staff when we checked in was not friendly. However, the staff when we checked out was super nice so I dont know what to make of that. And the rooms are a bit small.
