    Pros +

    • The view in my room. The modenness of the lobby and fountains to the restaurants. The Sushi at the restaurant was impeccable. A very nice surprise. I liked that It was away the crowds and I felt it was private and safe. The staff were so nice.
    • Location was good.
    • Within walking distance to three subway stations and view from balcony is fantastic

    Cons -

    • Could use new carpet, the awning at the outside top of the elevator were dusty and people drew smile faces with their fingers in the dust.
    • Our room had no air conditioning. The staff came to fix it at 4am in the morning and said it was a filter and yet it still didn¿t work. Staff did nothing about it and pretended to do speak no English. Poor staff and customer service. Not recommended.
    • The location was odd and pretty far from almost everything. When I originally booked my trip to Japan, this hotel and another one in Shinjuku were the 2 I was deciding between. Ultimately, I decided on the other hotel for our first 5 days in Tokyo, and then this hotel is where we stayed our very last night (2 weeks later) on our way out of town. I was SOOOO glad that I had not picked this hotel for the early part of our trip. In the other hotel, we could walk outside and be in the middle of everything in a couple of minutes. At this hotel, it was difficult getting anywhere, even to a train station. Cabs are plentiful, but you will be in a cab for 30 minutes to get almost anywhere. Unless for some reason you want to be walking distance to the Tokyo Tower, I would never stay here again because of the location. It seemed like a business hotel that caters mainly to business people. One of the reasons I chose this hotel for our last day was to be in a different part of Tokyo on our last night and to have a view of the Tokyo Tower. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when we went outside to look at the tower around 8 pm and it was not lit up. It was dark. I asked someone why and they said that a baseball player had died and it was dark in his honor. We looked it up, it was an 89 year old former baseball player who died of natural causes that day. As sad as that is, if you are staying somewhere with a landmark in the name of the hotel for one night in order to see the landmark, it is quite disappointing that the one and only night you are there the landmark is dark. I don't know if things like this happen often or not, but if you are there for only one night and your main purpose for choosing the hotel is to see the view of the landmark, know that you may not even get to see it. Finally, we were in one of the suites on the 2nd floor that are decorated in the Japanese style with tatami mats. The room and the hotel, in general, felt very dated and dark.

Stunning view of Tokyo Tower from the bedroom AND the bathroom - recommend booking Room 17. Bathroom has a jetted tub with a clear view of Tokyo Tower, perfect to unwind.

The hotel facilities and the staff were very nice. They had several restaurants and shops on property, and the staff was plenitful and very attentive.

Your hotel was on the higher end cost wise for use but we are very happy that we indulged ourselves for two nights and three days.We were impressed with the meticulous care of or room throughout the day.We used the concierge desk and they were very helpful and kind.Buffet breakfast was excellent.

A little far to get to a station.Taxi was easier for me.

The path with trees leading into the back of the property was soy neato

Dont have a lot if dislikes but I guess the room smelled of tobacco when we arrived which went away soon after

    5LayalPosted on: 12-9-2025

The room looked different than pictures and they were pretty average compared to the price. The location wasn’t great, nothing around the hotel.

The hotel is well located. The breakfast and lunge area were very nice with a beautiful view,

We spent 20 minutes checking in at the lounge executive level working through an interpreter trying to arrange two consecutive nights in the same room. After confirming the arrangements and paying an incremental fee, the next day we were contacted and told the previous arrangement could not be fulfilled as our room was not available for a second night. We were refunded the incremental fee, given lounge access but had to move to a lower floor into a room which had not been remodeled since the hotel was built. We gave up complaining as we’d already spent too much time being jerked around by obviously new staff who spoke little to no English.

I loved everything about this hotel from the location, to the staff, and the ambience. I would definitely stay here again, this was one of our favorite hotels in all of Tokyo.Recommendations: check out chillmatic great burger and lemonade for good ramen AFURI.

    Everything was lovely!

Booked a panoramic junior suite which was very spacious with a spectacular view. Well organized closet - no wasted space, held all of our stuff. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Lovely bathroom, though a bit on the dimly lit side, and a super comfy bed. Beautiful lounge on the 32 floor with a close up view of the Tokyo Tower. Loved it.

    Nothing!

Great view, spacious room, and very friendly, professional staff.

    7MaryPosted on: 11-17-2025

Beautiful and comfortable room with great views. Lovely staff. Nice gardens, quiet location.

Food and bar options very limited. We tried to get a drink the first night and the only option was the sky bar with high cover charge. We kept being referred to the main bar which was inexplicably closed throughout our 4 day stay although the staff kept insisting we could go there. No place to just get coffee in the morning. Again, we were referred to high priced breakfast options only. Restaurants very limited .. specialty Japanese restaurants, expensive steak and Chinese options. Chinese was quite good but off putting as we were the only ones on restaurant. Same for full service Japanese restaurant. Sushi and tempura bars seemed full, but we wanted more options.

Great location, bathtub was a jacuzzi, and views from both the room and bathroom were stunning (specially at night).Staff was really nice and gave us some cookies and a bottle of sparkling wine for our anniversary, which was a pleasant surprise.

Check in is too late (3pm) and the process was a bit tedious. You have to fill a form and they tend to take a bit too long to explain the facilities when you got there tired and just want to go to your room.I would advise to do check ins inside the room to make it easier for the client, specially for how much they charge for 1 night (USD 800).

    Cleaness

Breakfast on the 33rd floor wait line is not designed efficiently

    9ClairePosted on: 11-7-2025

This is not a Japandi style hipster hotel but a great classic. Everything works. A phone with buttons. Light switches at the bedsides for which you don’t need a manual. WiFi good enough to stream. Enough staff to keep your room tidy and clean. The size of the room was large enough to open a suitcase… (this is getting less and less the case) and also to enjoy an in-room dinner on a table with straight view to Tokyo tower. Concierge was very helpful. In the morning you can take a stroll to the park or nearby temple. I will definitely book again.

Two things come to my mind: 1) A bad smell when the nozzles of the jacuzzi bathtub are activated.2) A situation at the main entrance when some VIP arrived and I (64 years old and handicapped) was pushed away to a side entrance for being a security risk to this person (actual wording of the security guard). I would think it might be just the other way around.

    Location and price.

My room was very old, did not match photos.

    3LaurenPosted on: 10-27-2025

Room was very spacious and bathrooms had a jacuzzi tub and shower! Also the extra breakfast on the 32 floor is worth it and staff up there including the chef is very friendly!

Front desk staff and especially at the sky bar staff were not friendly at all, terrible service, super expensive, acted as if you were bothering them if you asked for anything. I could go on and on! I would never stay at this place again even though the rooms were nice

    4MohammedPosted on: 10-17-2025

Unfortunately there is nothing that stands out about this hotel except if you get a room overlooking Tokyo tower but even then its not worth it.

The hotel rooms are old, some really old, in some cases in a bad condition where you can smell old washed carpets throughout the room. The hotel divides its room styles based on the floors and at the beginning we were put in the section of the hotel that was ancient. After complaining and paying an additional amount we were transferred into a better room with a more modern and spacious aesthetic but even then for the amount of money I was paying and expecting a 5-star hotel, this was much closer to a 3 star hotel. Unfortunately, I will not be going back nor am I recommending a stay at the hotel.
