    Pros +

    • The location was excellent. The room was clean.
    • staff, location, cleanliness
    • Central to Tokyo train station and lots of shopping.

    Cons -

    • I booked a double and since I was traveling alone, they gave me a single (I paid for a double). THe staff does NOT make restaurant reservations. The staff also had to look up how to get to the fish market and that is a popular tourist destination.
    • we felt the breakfast was unnecessarily expensive at the time; this was confirmed by receiving similar breakfast buffets at other hotels at a considerably lower price
    • Mattress on beds very hard.

t desk there was one person I want to praise him. Most staff spoke English but he was much better and so very helpful to us. Overall the location was perfect for me to get to the Kabukiza. Also easy to get taxie. Neighborhood great.

    The Location

The main metros used were a good walk from the hotel. There were a few convenient restaurants near by but the hotel is located in a extremely quiet area. They had a nice REFA blow-dryer. Staff was quick and efficient and facial cleanser, toner, and lotion was provided at the front check in desk which also included face mask and heat pads for feet, and shoulders, etc. Very nice touch!

Not much foot traffic since the main area was at least 5-10 min walk out but close enough to places we wanted to go to, BIC, Cartier, Lotte, Van Cleef, basically all the high end and moderate brands, Daiso, GU, etc. Hotel room wasn't the cleanest I've seen in Japan, but it will do. The bathroom had some toilet papers on the floor next to the trash bin when we arrived and the floor was quite dusty under the bed and in general. Pajamas were not ironed or straightened which made the hotel bed look shabby.

    Need renovations.

    Room was outdated otherwise clean.

    9LourdesPosted on: 1-19-2026

Breakfast was great; lots of choices both Japanese and Western options.

They could use more front desk staff that are fluent in English.

    8ChaiPosted on: 1-19-2026

Location is near Ginza. The room exceed my expectation. Toilet is a wow. I did not have breakfast though.

Big hotel with a lot of rooms, but only two elevator. Reception area is small, so it was extremely crowded during check out period

Location was great for a short time in Tokyo.

Room was tiny. Only view was concrete wall.

    Location

Rooms were smaller then pictures show and the furniture is tired an weathered. We had two rooms and sent a bag ahead to hotel that they put in one of the rooms. Even thought the bag was in the room when we arrived at 2:00 they wouldn’t grant us access to the room till 3:00. So our bags sat in lobby till we returned much later. Otherwise staff was very nice

    very nice across the board

the room was quite hot even though it was december, so we had to keep the window open

    Good location, clean room.

Room was a bit small but this is the standard in Tokyo.

    Pleasant hotel at Ginza

    8ArielPosted on: 12-8-2025

The location was great and the room was a nice size. The bathroom was nice and the water pressure in the shower was great. The amenities selection at check in was amazing too. And the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The shower would oscillate between being the perfect temperature to suddenly shooting out a blast of insanely hot water and this happened every other minute for the whole shower. Also the room was so hot but there was no option for air conditioning or to open a window. And it’s a small detail but this was the only hotel I stayed with on this trip that didn’t have a vending machine on site or a shoe horn.

    5Jean-PierrePosted on: 12-7-2025

The location is good, in the heart of Ginza. Lots of activity all around.

The room was bare, furnished with a scuffed chair and no carpet. Not very attractive at all. On the other hand, the bed was comfortable. Probably the worst thing was the price for breakfast. It was ¥4000, which is ¥500 yen more than another Monterey hotel I stayed at. I refuse to pay that much so went to a nearby coffee shop for breakfast.

    8ClaudiaPosted on: 12-3-2025

    Location and spacious rooms

Simple rooms but tidy, personnel at reception not very friendly

    8Vincent H.Posted on: 11-25-2025

Good area for shopping.Amenities are very nice and good quality.Classic hotel both from exterior to interior.

Location from the closest jr station was a bit far, only metro are around the area.Lobby from receptionist was a bit tight and disorganized since they keep the luggage there.Staff needs to smile a bit while talking to customer even if they just need to keep the luggage.

    8RoryPosted on: 11-24-2025

The room and bed were comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The shower head was at a really odd angle and couldn’t be adjusted so it sprayed right into my face.
