    Cons -

    • Nothing to note
    • - Location was acceptable- They didn’t inform us beforehand that their are having construction work done during our booking time.- the corridor smells of paints- The reception is in the floor B which is very weird.- Every time we go out we have to give the key to the reception as they have only one key for the room which ridiculous
    • In overall the interiors are a bit outdated, but they seem to know it and have renovation works at the time ongoing. At the moment only on the facade, which didn't create any noice problems, since they finished the renovation works on the interiors on one of the floors. Please check before booking. They still have smoking rooms, which was the only one left at the dates I needed, which is not recommended for sensible noses. The hotel offered to spray the next day since I'm a non-smoker.once they noticed at my arrival that I'm not a smoke.

    The location

I stay during a renovation periode. Even if the price was lower, it was still high regarding the situation. No natural light in the room because of plastic that was covering the windows. You have to let your key each time you go out and the lobby is in the basement, so it's not exactly on the way.No breakfast serve in the hotel even if they have a restaurant.

Convenient location with great spots to eat nearby and a darts bar! The room was spacious and the washroom was well equipped

The staff were super friendly and the fact that there was a bathtub was very nice. Having a proper desk in your room is also great if you want to get some work done!

Everything was wonderful, all the receptionists were nice and friendly, the room was always clean and very comfortable, the location was excellent, I have a new reservation with them and I believe I will feel the same.

    Didn’t have, everything was perfect!

Great Customer Service. Belmont Hotel employs foreign workers in their roster of employees. The receptionist when I was checking-in was a fellow countryman, which made it much easier for me to ask questions. They were also the ones that filled-out the forms for the luggage delivery service when I needed to avail. Train and subway stations were also less than 5 min. walk. It is also located in a quiet neighborhood which is plus for me.

accommodations could be updated. The hotel is a bit run down, the carpet was sticky. The crammed a third bed in there which made it pretty tight.

We were three of us-myself, my wife and adult son. We got a wonderful room with three separate beds. The room overlooked the Kanda river and we could watch the boats on the river which was full of fallen cherry blossoms - we were there in early April. There was a separate space for storage with the room, so all the warnings about small Japanese rooms where you could not even open a big suitcase did not apply here! The location was awesome and we were just around the corner from the major shopping and eating areas as also the subway. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it very highly.

Generally loved the hotel. Only thing is, the reception area is below ground level. So if you enter the hotel and look for the reception desk, you won't see it - you have to go down one floor! But this is a small, a very small negative, not worth mentioning really!

Some mold in the bathroom, and dated furnishings

Perfect location, 2 minutes walk from Subway/JR Lines. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby

    9MohamedPosted on: 4-22-2025

So friendly staff, very good location and pretty accessible by public transportation, and comfy room

The bulky keys but I attribute that to the fact that the hotel is kinda vintage and old style (which isn’t a bad thing at all)

    10NeliaPosted on: 4-7-2025

The hotel location is very near Asakusabashi station. The Japanese room is big with 2 toilets and 1 bath/shower room. There is a kitchen with cooking stove, but no microwave. Everyday fresh towels and kimonos are provided. The room is cleaned everyday. We were also allowed to leave our luggages after check-out and come back for it later in the day.

Nothing. Although a microwave in the room kitchen would have been perfect.

    5SPosted on: 4-6-2025

the location is great, near public transportation station. Several convenient stores around. Staffs are friendly. The room is quite clean.

A/C in the room is not cool enough, impossible to change the room in this peak season. Luckily, the weather turned to be cold. And the room rate is quite high, might be in the high season.

    10KhysmetPosted on: 3-22-2025

Amazing! Location was great— near train station and convenience stores. Quiet area/neighborhood. Room was spacious enough for us. Other people would say that they don’t like leaving their keys to the reception desk every time they go out, but I think it’s a great idea because you don’t have to worry thinking about where you put or left your keys when you go out.

    9GaylePosted on: 3-22-2025

Clean and comfortable, excellent staff, great location which is easy to access public transport, wifi was great, beds were comfortable.

Pillows were very hard and only one pillow per person.

    10WilliamPosted on: 3-16-2025

This little hotel was close to 2 metro lines. Whilst the rooms are a little dated, they are perfectly functional and fine.

    8StephenPosted on: 2-22-2025

The staff were great. Really friendly and helpful.

The room was a bit dated and the duvet was stained. The window seemed to let in a lot of noise from outside.
